It had been two whole weeks since the argument out side of Eddie's house about that house on Neibolt street. Lydia hasn't talked to anyone but Stanley and Richie. Stanley's bar mitzvah was around next week. Richie and Lydia were both invited. So were the other losers but Stanley probably uninvited them. Lydia had hung out with Stanley and Richie more often. She wasn't really close with the two, she did have a crush on Stanley, but she never talked to him as much since she would probably be a flustered mess. She was more closer with Bill, she met him in first grade, that's how she got her spot or well to be apart of the losers club, all because of Bill.

Lydia was asleep, her telephone rang, it was ten thirty in the morning. She reached out for the telephone, that was placed on her bedside table. She picked the phone up from the box and put the phone to her ear.

"Hello?" Lydia spoke, rubbing her eyes.

"Hey Lydia! You wanna come to the arcade with me!? Stanley is coming too." Richie said. Lydia's heart started to beat fast at the mention of Stanley, her face turning red.

"Alright, I'll meet you there in about half an hour. Bye." Lydia said before setting the phone onto the phone box.

She sighed and got up out of bed. She went to her closet and picked out some dark shaded denim jeans, with a Fleetwood mac band t-shirt along with some black converses. She left her room, Lydia saw her mothers car not on the drive way. She shrugged it off and went to her bike that laid on the front yard.

Lydia arrived to the arcade, seeing her best friend and crush. She smiled and they all walked in. Richie played street fighter, Lydia and Stanley watched. Lydia told Richie she could beat his high score, his score was around 53, something, thousand. Lydia's high score was five. No not five thousand, five on the dot. Richie laughed at her and she glared at him.

"Ah ha! You really thought you could beat the mastermind of street fighter!?" Richie said trying to not die of laughter.

"Shut up! I was feeling confident." Lydia said rolling her eyes playfully. Stanley laughed at the two.

Stanley had a go playing street fiver. He got a high score of one thousand. Lydia smiled at him as a way of saying congratulations. The three headed out the arcade to get some ice cream.

After a while Richie had to go home for dinner. He said if he had any plans for tomorrow he'll call Lydia and Stanley. Stanley and Lydia walked about until Stanley spoke up.

"Hey, Lydia?" Stanley spoke.

"Yeah?" She replied looking up at him.

"Can I ask you something? Don't hate me for asking." He said. Lydia raised an eyebrow.

"Okay... what is your question?" Lydia asked.

"Do you... like, Bill?" He asked as he looked at her. She looked at him before laughing.

"What!? No! Bill is a friend, I do not like him in that way. Why?" She said.

"It's just... when we were in the house on Neibolt Street, you were holding his arm and you were pretty close with him. I just thought maybe you guys were dating or something...?" Stanley said. Lydia laughed.

"Well Bill would be like a brother to me. Plus I'm pretty sure Beverly likes him? Or Ben? I don't know? I was also scared. Sure I was holding onto Bev thinking it was my last time on earth." Lydia chuckled. Stanley nodded.

"Do you like anyone?" He asked. She looked at him.

"Uh... yeah? But I'll let you have three guess." Lydia said. Stanley nodded.

"Bill." He said. Jeez he wasn't going to let this go was he?

"No!" Lydia said.

"Hm... Beverly!?" Stanley asked. Lydia looked at him.

"Hate to break it to you Stan but I like boys." Lydia said giggling.

"Eddie!?" Stanley asked. Lydia shook her head.

"Nope." Lydia said

Stanley looked at her.

"I guess I used all my guesses up." He said.

"Yeah, looks like it." Lydia said.

Stanley looked at her.

"You still coming to my bar mitzvah?" He asked. She nodded.

"I wouldn't miss it, Stan the man." Lydia chuckled nudging his arm. He chuckled.

"Thanks Liddy." Stanley said. It was getting pretty late. Lydia had to get home before dinner, even though her mother was probably not home, she'd just want to be home, just in case. Plus her mother didn't know she was out and would probably have a heart attack. Lydia now had to ask for permission to hang out, since her brother went missing. Her mother has been more concerned about where Lydia is going and who she was hanging out with.

"Hey it's uh getting pretty late and my mom might be home soon and she doesn't know I'm out and she'll have a heart attack if she finds out I was out without letting her know." Lydia said. Stanley nodded.

"I'll walk you home." Stanley said. Lydia smiled she walked her bike instead of riding it just so she could stay in pace with Stanley.

They arrived at Lydia's house. Her mothers car still not in the drive way. She smiled and looked over at Stanley as she dropped her bike on her front lawn.

"Thanks. For walking me home." She said and smiled at him.

"No problem." He said.

She smiled even more and hugged him. He was surprised by her reaction by then hugged her back.

"Bye Stanley." Lydia said as she pulled away from the hug and entered her house. Stanley smiled like a dork the whole way to his house.

Lydia walked into the kitchen in her house. She saw a note from her mother.

"I won't be home till later on.
Here's some money to order a pizza. Love you loads.

-Mom."

Lydia read the note. She smiled and ran to the phone. She loved getting pizza it was like her favourite food. She dialled the phone number on the telephone, her finger wrapping around the cord. After ordering her pizza she went to her living room. Watching tv. She clicked through all the channels until the goonies was on channel seven. Lydia smiled and it watched it. The loved that movie more than anything, well other than Stanley. It was about ten minutes and there was a knock on the door. Lydia ran to the kitchen grabbing the money off of the kitchen counter, she ran to the door.

She opened the door and smiled at the young man who was carrying a pizza box.

"Hi. That will be five fifty please." The pizza delivery guy said as Lydia handed him the money.

"Keep the change." She said as she smiled at him and gently took the pizza box from him. He smiled and left. She closed the front door with her foot and quickly walked in to watch the goonies and eat pizza.
