It was early morning, and Ragini had barely slept, her mind occupied with thoughts of how she would convince Chachi ji to let Ash stay.
As she dressed for the day, she glanced at Karanveer, still peacefully sleeping, his face serene and undisturbed. She couldn't help but scoff.
"Kitne aram se so rahe hain," she muttered to herself, mildly annoyed that he could sleep so soundly while she wrestled with her thoughts.
Determined to keep Ash hidden until she could speak with Chachi ji, Ragini decided to place him in the greenhouse attached to their room. It was a cozy, quiet space, perfect for keeping Ash out of sight. She locked him in the greenhouse, ensuring he had enough food and water before heading to the kitchen.
Her plan was simple: she would cook Anditha Chachi's favorite meal to soften her up for the big request.
Hours passed as Ragini busied herself in the kitchen, the aroma of freshly cooked food filling the air. She knew Chachi ji would be down any minute and everything was almost ready.
If all went well, this would be her chance to bring up Ash.
But, of course, nothing ever goes exactly as planned.
While Ragini was putting the final touches on breakfast, Manvi and Arjun returned from their early morning walk. As they entered the house, Arjun's phone rang, and he excused himself to take the call outside. Manvi continued inside, humming softly to herself, unaware of the impending chaos.
Meanwhile, Ash, who had woken up and found his surroundings unfamiliar, was growing curious. He started exploring the greenhouse, eventually discovering that the door to the garden was slightly ajar. Without hesitation, he slipped outside, his tiny paws padding silently across the grass.
The gardener, who was trimming the bushes nearby, spotted Ash and was surprised, mistaking him for a stray dog that had somehow wandered onto the property.
Panicking, he started chasing Ash, shouting, "Aye! Pakdo usse!" as he tried to catch the little dog.
Ash, startled by the commotion, sprinted away from the gardener, heading straight into the house.
He dashed past Manvi, who was just walking through the hallway, and she froze for a second before letting out a terrified scream. "Ahhhhh!"
Hearing her scream, both Arjun and Ragini rushed out from their respective locations, their hearts pounding.
The gardener, followed by a couple of servants, was in hot pursuit of Ash, who was now darting around the living room, a blur of fur and energy. Manvi was hopping from foot to foot, trying to avoid the energetic dog as he zigzagged around the room, utterly terrified.
Ragini stood frozen for a moment, her mind struggling to catch up with the chaos unfolding before her. "Ash, no!" she shouted, trying to stop him, but Ash, in his excitement, wasn't listening.
He thought it was all a game, and his tail wagged furiously as he evaded everyone's attempts to catch him.
The scene was pure pandemonium—Manvi shrieking, the gardener and servants chasing after Ash, and Ragini, her heart sinking, realizing that her plan was rapidly falling apart. Just as she was about to intervene, Ash suddenly skidded to a halt in front of Anditha who had just emerged drawn by the noise.
Just as Ragini was about to intervene, Ash skidded to a halt right in front of Anditha, who had just emerged from her room, drawn by all the noise. Her eyes widened in shock, and she let out a startled scream.
The sudden sound scared Ash, and he bolted again, running around in frantic circles, barking excitedly, "Woof! Woof!"
"Ash, stop!" Ragini called out, trying desperately to catch him, with Arjun and the servants also joining in the chase. But Ash, thinking it was all a big, fun game, only ran faster, darting around the hall with infectious enthusiasm. "Woof! Woof!"
