A day passed, and though Karanveer and Dada Ji were still upset about the situation, things were slowly beginning to return to some normalcy. The tension in the house had eased, but the storm wasn't completely over.

Karanveer had been cold towards everyone and Ragini, despite sensing his mood, was at a loss for how to handle the situation. Karanveer wasn't the easiest person to reason with when he was angry, and despite her attempts nothing seemed to be working. She wanted to help Manvi and Arjun more, but Karanveer's cold attitude and Dada ji's stubbornness had her hands tied.

However, the one who was now freaking out the most was Arjun. His girlfriend was still furious with him, and he had just two days left to fulfill his family's mandate of introducing her to them. The pressure was mounting, and Arjun's usual charm seemed to be failing him for the first time.

But the challenge didn't stop there. Anditha, his mother, was still the most furious of all, and despite Arjun and Manvi's combined efforts to appease her, nothing seemed to be working. The mood swings, the cold looks, and the occasional sarcastic remarks from her were constant reminders that both of them were still in trouble.

"Ha, ab toh bache bade ho gaye hain, baatein chupate hain," she quipped, casting a pointed look at Arjun, who shrank in his chair.

"Next step shaadi bhi khud hi kar lena, haan? Hume sirf mithai bhej dena," she added with a dramatic sigh, earning a nervous glance from Manvi.

Mihir, ever the understanding Father and uncle, attempted to intervene but one sharp glare from his wife had him retreating faster than a rabbit into its burrow.

"Why does everything have to go wrong in one week?" Arjun groaned, slumping into the couch, his mind racing for solutions.

"It's your bad karma," Manvi replied, though she was equally stressed.

Arjun barged into Ragini and Karanveer's room, looking frantic. Karanveer was seated on the bed, typing away on his laptop, while Ragini sat on the floor playing with Ash, their dog.

"Bhabi....!!" Arjun whined, almost out of breath. He collapsed next to her on the floor ruffling his hair in frustration.

Ragini looked up, concerned. "What happened now?"

He sighed dramatically. "Ek taraf maa naraz hai, doosri taraf girlfriend! Banda kare toh kya kare!" he vented, flailing his hands.

Karanveer didn't even look up from his laptop.

"Ache karma, which you clearly have none of," he quipped with a smirk, causing both Ragini and Arjun to shoot him glares.

Arjun rolled his eyes. "Bhai, seriously! This is not the time for jokes." "I didn't plan for this to happen!" he huffed

Karanveer finally looked up, eyebrows raised. "And whose fault is that?.......... Oh wait, yours."

"Bhabi!" Arjun whined dramatically, turning to Ragini for support.

"Bhabiii!" Karanveer mimicked his tone, raising his voice an octave to mock Arjun's desperation. As if on cue, Ash barked in agreement, wagging his tail

Ragini, trying to suppress a laugh, shook her head. "Veer, stop teasing him!"

Karanveer shrugged, leaning back into the pillows. "I'm just pointing out the obvious. Even Ash agrees, see?"

Arjun groaned. "I came here for advice from Bhabi, not to be roasted by you!"

Karanveer smirked. "Husband comes as a complimentary package to the wife, little brother. Two for the price of one." He winked at Ragini, who just rolled her eyes at his theatrics.
