"So are you and Tony together?" Loki asks after he takes a sip of his wine. He has already finished his dinner, and is intently watching me finish mine.

I take a sip of my wine and dab off my lips. "No. We're just really good friends. We used to be together." I reply.

"What happened?"

"I'm not sure. It wasn't one thing that separated us. Kinda a mix of things." I was telling the truth here. I have no idea why me and Tony broke up. We were so happy together. Engaged for almost a full year, and living a remarkable happy life. But he cheated on me, and i cheated on him. To be fare i was sick and not knowing what i was doing, but it still bothered me enough to tell him i did it. He was in Vegas with my dad that weekend, having way to good of a time, and cheated on me there. We both admitted it at the same time, and almost laughed it off. We forgave each other immediately. Excusing ourselves from our bad one-nighters.  So it wasn't the cheating that ruined us. Maybe it was me? I kept postponing the wedding, i was too afraid to get married. Marriage has always scared me.

"I see." he says. I stand up and grab his finished plate and my half way done finished plate and bring it back to clean up. "That's why you're so tiny mortal." I was tiny, i was only 4'11" and weighed 98 pounds. "Do you ever finish a meal?" He turns on the faucet and grabs a sponge and takes the plates from my hand.

"Sometimes." Lie. I never do. My ex always yelled at me for it. "And you clean too?" I laugh. "You're girlfriend must love you." I joke, i grab the sudsy dish in his hand and rinse it and put it in the drying rack.

"Girlfriend?" He chuckles to himself, "I like to be free, no women anchor holding me down."

"That was probably the most appalling thing I've heard come out of you're mouth." I laugh a hurtful shocked laugh. "Us women are not something that holds you back, we may hold you down, but only with us at you're same level. Hold you down in a good way."

"A women's place is under her man. They are never equal especially to a god."

"All women are goddesses."

"Mhm." he says. We finish the dishes and return to the living room. I sit back in one of the chairs, and curl up, Loki sits down on the couch and stares at me.

"What?" i say, feeling uncomfortable.

"Want to go do something fun?" His eyes almost look like bright lights have just been placed in there.

"Like what?" I reply. Almost worried for what he has in mind.

"Lets go swimming." He says with a huge smile.

"Are you nuts? Its already 8. That waters probably freezing."

"Its at its best temperature right now. It matches how nice it is outside, and this thermometer reads 82 degrees." He stands up and takes his shirt off, displaying his upper body, when he turns around you can see a couple of wounds. It makes me wince and think of my own. "Meet you outside?"

"You're crazy."

"Possibly." He laughs and disappears outside into the darkness. I follow him and watch him slowly walk into the water, the waves don't push him a bit, and he walks almost too gracefully into the water. "Come on. Its amazing in here."

"I don't have a bathing suit."

He winks an eye at me and comes out of the water towards me, he pulls at my green top, "Take this off then."

A blush grows on my face, remembering that under this shirt is only my bare skin. "I can't."

His eyes narrow in confusion but then he nods his head in complete understanding.  He smiles again and snaps his fingers and i'm placed in a gorgeous two piece bathing suit. He whistles and laughs, "Its no fun always being right." He laughs
