You Are So Good Deep Down Inside

Loki's voice woke me up. At first it made me happy, i smiled and stretched myself out. But then i recognized Loki was talking to someone. Which made me jump. I heard Thor's voice, accompanied with Tony's. Oooo! Tony is home! I got up and walked out to the kitchen. I wanted to retreat though as soon as i saw everyone's miserable and angered faces.  Loki saw me first. He smiled, but a teasing unpleasant smile. It looked almost vicious. "Good morning princess." Tony follows his gaze and looks at me. He looks like someone had destroyed Jarvis or something. I feel a sting in my chest, as i walk over to the boys.

"Please tell me that it isn't true." Tony whispers. I look away from his frightened and saddened eyes. "Oh my god." He blows out a lot of air and brushes his hand down his face and through his hair. "Why? He's evil Alice. Do you remember that man over there? What he's done." He looks like he's beginning to boil over. "When i said, get along and be nice to each other, i didn't mean that nice!" He walks away from me.

I watch him pour himself some whiskey. "Hey, at least no ones dead." I joke, trying to make as light of this awkward situation.

"Oh yea, that's great Alice. I'd rather him to have been dead then you two to have been rolling around in bed together. Yuck!"

"Tony, he is my brother. And so what if they,-" Thor's voice breaks and continues awkwardly "rolled in bed together." he looks at the still very pleased Loki, his smile irritates me so much right now, i'm beginning to wish i didn't roll around in bed with him either. "Alice is right, at least there still both alive."

"It's sad that we shouldn't even have to say that. The only reason that sentence exists is because of your brother and his murderous tendencies." Tony scowls. He takes another swig, and then refills his glass not being shy with the whiskey at all. "Alice you fall for the worst people. Look at him. He's evil. He's a monster." I look at Loki, and see his smile vanish immediately when the word monster comes out of Tony's mouth. He looks down, i can almost see the invisible sword cut right into his heart. That word is so terrible.

"That was wrong Tony and you know it." I hiss at Tony. "How dare you call somebody a monster when you know how sharp that word is. You've been at the other end of that word. Did you like it?" I snap at him. "Loki isn't a monster. He is a man who has made some bad choices, just like everybody else in this room." I walk over to Loki, and pick his head up to my eye level. "Don't listen to him. I've seen the real you, and it isn't a monster." i place my hands on his heart, "you are so good deep down inside." I see a smile spread on his face. I lean up and kiss his cheek.

"Oh quit it."

"Shut up Tony." I yell. "God, i always  fall for the wrong men right? Were you the wrong man? No, you were the perfect man right? Only cheated on me about 3 different times, but hey, you were the perfect man." Tony looks sad again, and hurt. "I am not a baby. And if i want to be with Loki, then i will. He showed me more fun then you did in that year. We went out and enjoyed each others company. He's a god, and he spent more attention on me then you did. I mean come on. You worked 24/7."

"I know we had our rough spots but i didn't go around killing people. God Alice, how could you love somebody who has done that?"

"How could you Tony? And i don't love anybody yet, i like Loki. I killed people too, did i not change? Or am i still evil and should i not be loved or saved?"

"Alice you were different."

Loki looks at me, "You killed people?" He looks shocked, and confused.

"Different story for a different time." I whisper. "No Tony, it wasn't different, how many times have i gone off and went crazy and killed innocents?"
