You Both Have A Heart (Part 1)

I wake up to Loki's voice, it startles me. He's whispering to me, but i can't make out what the exact words are. I can't even see him. Its all blurry and dark in here. I'm wrapped up in so much heat. I feel dehydrated. I try to unravel myself from my heated cocoon, but i feel hands stop me from moving any further. Loki's voice becomes a bit clearer, it sounds muffled but i can tell he's telling me to not move, and asking me if i'm OK.

I try to speak but all that happens is my lips moving. I pull my arm out, and make a drinking hand motion. I hear Loki say drink? and i nod my head. He says he'll be right back and opens the bedroom door, the hallway light streams in. When Loki returns, Thor and Tony have joined him, Loki sits me up, releasing both of my arms fully for better support. He hands me the tall cold glass, and i begin to take large gulps from it. The water burns going down for the first couple of gulps, but soon enough its refreshing. Tony tells me to slow down, and take it easy. I can't though. My body feels as dry as the desert. 

The men crowd around me, the shadows become full men, and i can finally see clearly. I try to speak again, "What happ- ha- happened?" I stutter out. 

"You almost died." Tony says. "But don't worry, you're all safe now. All in one piece. I promise." 

"An-nd my he-a-ea-rt-t?" Jeesh whats up with my stutter it is so out of control today. I hate it. 

"Its fine. Loki pulled through. You both have a heart now." Tony replies calmly.

I turn to Loki who has a beautiful patient smile on his face, i put my hand on my chest. I feel my heart beat, it feels so weird. Unbelievably weird. "H-how? Are you o-ok?" I ask'

"I told you i could do it. And yes, i'm perfectly fine." Loki leans over and kisses the top of my head. "You should rest some more my love, lay back down." I scootch into the blankets some more. And close my eyes. I'm so tired. I fall back to sleep.

When i wake up in the morning my cocoon is missing, and i'm in only my bra and panties, with a light sheet over me. The clock reads 3 pm. "Oh my god, i slept through the whole day?!" I get up slowly. And put on Loki's shirt from last night. I walk into the bathroom, i do my thing. When i look in the mirror i notice i look like unbelievably crappy. I brush my teeth and hair, and wash my face. I look at the shower, and turn it on, and strip my clothes off of my horrid and aching body. I step into the nice warm shower and wash my whole body relaxing my muscles. It feels so amazing. I have a new longer scar, but my robot heart is missing. I touch my chest, my new heart is beating strong. I have Loki's heart. When i finish showering i step out and wrap myself up in a huge bath towel. 

I walk out to the kitchen, Loki is sitting at the table facing away from me reading. I walk up behind him and kiss his neck. He jumps a bit and swirls his chair to face me. "Good evening my lady." Loki whispers, and kisses me, he pulls me up on his lap, and kisses me like he thought he never would again. I pull out for air.

"Where are the boys?" 

"Out they should be back in at least a half hour." 

"Where'd they go?" I hop off of his lap and head to the fridge. I pour some tea, and take a lot of it down. 

"To get dinner and Captain America."

"Good i'm starvin' like Marvin." 

"Who?" 

"Nobody, its just an expression. Why is Cap coming?" 

"I have no idea."
