"Hey! I was thinking you weren't going to make it!" Gina, my best friend said as I met her outside the theater.
"I know I got held up at work. I rushed here as quick as I could." I said as we hugged. I then saw her husband Danny, "Hey." I said as I hugged him as well.
"Well we are waiting on one more person..." Danny said and I looked between them.
"You two aren't trying to set me up again are you?" I groaned.
"Actually no. This friend of mine wasn't sure he was going to be in town or able to go so when we found out dates, I bought him a ticket just in case." Danny explained and I nodded.
"Actually why don't we go in and get a table. We will order a round for everyone then you two coke in when he gets here." Gina suggested and I nodded as did Danny.
"Yeah, sounds good." Danny said giving Gina a quick kiss and we headed inside.
"So who is this friend Danny invited?" I asked and Gina just shrugged.
"A friend hes known since they were kids. He wasn't able to make it to the wedding." Gina aside
Gina and Danny had just gotten married 3 months ago and their wedding was beautiful. Small and intimate.
We sat at the table our tickets were for and ordered a round of beer for everyone.
"So what's this friend's name?" I asked.
"Chris." She said and I just half nodded. As we were getting ready for the comedy show go begin Danny walked in with his friend and my eyes were in shock, not just my eyes, my whole entire body was in shock. Even under the Boston baseball cap, and he was wearing a white tank and flannel button up that was open and blue jeans it was pretty easy to see who it was.
"Sasha, this is my friend Chris. Chris, this is Sasha." Danny introduced us. Chris stuck his hand out and I shook his hand, I shook Chris Evans hand!
"Nice to meet you." Chris said with a smile.
"Same to you." I smiled as he sat down and the drinks were bought to the table.
"You guys ever seen him live?" Danny asked.
"I've heard his live shows but never seen them." I said and Gina nodded in agreement.
"Chris and I saw him when he was just starting out in LA. Chris was filming and had a night off." Danny said.
"How is he?" I asked.
"Hilarious." Chris said and I half nodded.
I took a swig of my drink and I sighed as my cellphone started ringing in my purse.
"Shit..." I grumbled and quickly got my phone out. I looked at saw who it was showing Gina and she snorted a laugh. I ignored the called and then turned my phone to vibrate.
