Chris and I were rushing around his mom's house along with his mom and sister making sure a bunch of little kids were all set up for his niece Stella's 8th birthday party.
"Carly...what made her pick a Frozen theme?" I asked as we set up the plates and cups for the kids.
"I think she is wanting a sister...or maybe a little girl cousin to play with..." Carly said and waggled her eyebrows at me and I sighed and I heard Chris groan behind me.
"When the time is right Carly." Chris said. "You also have a recently married sister to get on." Chris said and pointed to Shanna and she laughed.
"Wow, thanks." Shanna said and I smiled at her.
"Sorry, have to take the heat off of us somehow." I said and she smiled.
"No offense with you two I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. I mean you have been together...how long...2 years." Lisa spoke up and I looked at Chris.
"Maybe that's because this one hasn't been home for more than 3 weeks in the past year since I moved in." I said and he groaned and walked out of the kitchen where we all were. I sighed and went to follow him, knowing I upset him. I found him outside on the front walk with his hands in his pockets taking in the nice fall day.
"Hey." I said coming up behind him and placing my arms around his midsection.
"You know I don't like that I haven't been home..." Chris said and I sighed and placed my forehead against his back.
"I know, I'm sorry. It was a low blow. You have been working and busy." I said and I released him from my grip as he went and turned around.
"You also know I want to have kids with you, I want a family and I know its with you." Chris said and leaned down to kiss me.
"Put a ring on it first mister." I said once we broke apart and he nodded with a smile.
"You know it." Chris said and I smiled as I played with a part of his beard.
"Maybe before you go fully grey too." I said and he rolled his eyes.
"Don't you like it?" Chris asked and I moaned.
"I love it." I said as he leaned in to kiss me again.
"Hey! It's a kids party! Cut that out!" We heard someone yell coming up the driveway and we looked to see Chris's brother Scott and his boyfriend Steve come walking up.
"Hey!" I said as let go of Chris and rushed over to Scott and hugged him. Once I broke up from him I hugged Steve. I then walked back over to Chris and he wrapped his arms around me from behind as we stood outside.
"How crazy is it inside?" Scott asked.
"10 kids...all girls...so a lot of Disney princess stuff and Stella picked Frozen as her theme. Myles and Ethan are hiding up in my old room." Chris said and I smiled.
"Yeah Stella wants a little girl sister or cousin according to Carly." I said and Scott looked at Chris and I.
"Yeah you two can get on that." Scott said and we all laughed.
"He has to put a ring on it first." I said as Carly came to the front door.
"Sydney, miss party planner, can you help me for a second?" She asked and I laughed with a nod. Chris released me and I walked in the house.
"You haven't proposed yet?!" Steve asked in shock.
"I'm working on a plan, no clue when I will do it." Chris said.

A few hours later into the party all the kids were doing karaoke since Chris brought over the machine and set it up to the TV.
