Chapter 13

No one can say that the animosity between one another has went down, even though alliances are forms and friendships are made. 

Liam and Harry have more of an alliance with a small bit of sexual tension between the werewolf and demon. Luke and Ashton were best friends long before you came in the picture. Neither one can say that you are the reason that they stopped being friends. They have themselves to blame.

Niall, Zayn, and Louis don't trust anyone at all. Michael and Calum as starting to bond more over their dislike of Luke and Ashton. Then there is you in the middle of it all. You don't want anyone to fight because the world is already in ruins when all supernatural barriers all had broken. Now all the guys at the top of their supernatural chains are fighting one another. Over you.

"I'm tired of fighting." Ashton tucked his knees into his chest, wrapping his arms around his legs. Luke sat next to him on the ground, throwing rocks into the lake.

"I'm sure because you've been fighting most of the time." Luke agreed, skipping rocks into the water. "And of course it's over, (Y/N)."

The angelic boy stretched his legs out, resting back on his shoulders,"Not going to lie. I didn't know what everyone was capable of until the invasion from yesterday. All the guys here can fight. I can only imagine that we could start another war only with us involved."

"I agree." The demigod nods. "But can I ask you this....."

"What's up?" 

Luke isn't sure how to word his question without him seeming too.....desperate. 

"Do you recall telling our deal? I'm your sidekick and I'll help him fall in love with you?"

"Yeah?"

"Can we share (Y/N)?" Luke blushed. "I'm sorry Ashton but I feel like if he can trust us both then he'll end up having romantic feelings towards the both of us?"

"Sharing (Y/N) with you?" Ashton furrowed an eyebrow. "I suppose."

Luke leaped overr to his friend, hugging him around his neck. "Thanks Ashton! But let's remember that you come first." Ashton burst into hysterical laughter hugging back.

"Oh fuck!" Luke whispered.

"What is it?"

"Liam and Harry are coming this way." He warned balling his fist. "Let's pretend that they are not there."

"Good idea." Ashton quickly sat upright while Luke resumed skipping rocks.

"Beautiful day, isn't it?" Harry sat by the water with Liam.

"Very." Liam agrees laying back, putting his hands at the back of his head. "That was an impressive job, you did at the fight yesterday."

"Not as good as you." The demon boy flirts, laying next to Liam in the grass, cuddling to his side. 

"Those two are closer than I thought." Ashton whispered to Luke.

"I know." Luke face scrunched up. 

Liam's keen hearing allowed him to hear what they were whispering. So he decides to play along. "So Harry. If (Y/N) ends up picking two guys instead of one, who do you think he'll pick?"

"Us obviously." Harry answered, bluntly. "He likes us more than the other guys. I know it." Harry played along with Liam as well. Making Luke and Ashton jealous is working.

"So how have you been, Louis?" You asked the wizard, walking around with him. Luke and Ashton quickly turned around with wide eyes. Liam and Harry continued to cuddle in the grass.

"I've been okay. How about yourself?"

"Good. Still kinda traumatized from the attack yesterday."

"You'll be fine. As long as you have me." Louis said, arrogantly.

"I feel safer already."

"Really?!" Ashton growled. "Now Louis is really crossing the line. We are the ones that are supposed to protect (Y/N)." They watched until you and Louis walked into the nature trail.

"You don't have at least one friend?" You asked.

"I have you and the other guys I don't care for." Louis shrugged. "And Niall everything about him just annoys me. I'd go one on one with him."

"Niall's a fighter." You tried to warn.

"And I'm a wizard." Louis sassed. "I can just snap my fingers and he'll disappear-" The wizard quickly reacted teleporting you away from a demon monster getting tossed through the air towards you and Louis. The last monster from yesterday invasion was still around and it happened to cross over paths with Calum and Michael. The fallen angel grabbed it buy it's wing and threw it miles across the woods. 

The monster recovered and roared at you and Louis. He bravely stood in front of you to protect you like he said he would. The winged monster roared then flew towards Louis. Michael blasted it with dark energy stopping it from attacking Louis.

"I don't hate you but do you mind giving me a hand?" Michael struggling to take the monster down alone.

"I don't hate you either. Why not?" Louis pointed his wand towards the monster, shooting lightning at it. The monster wouldn't go down just yet. "What will kill this thing?!"

"Don't know! Calum help us!" Michael begged. Calum obliged then opened his hand at a giant boulder. He lifted it up with his powers making it hover over the monster. Calum brought his hand down to his side making the rock drop on the monster crushing it into black smoke. 

Small pants sounds from both Louis and Michael's mouths. You noticed that Micheal, Louis, and Calum were able to their differences to side and work together. It's not that they had any to begin with, it's just that Louis hasn't trusted anyone and Michael only trusted Calum.

"Are you okay?" Louis asked.

"I'm fine thanks. Are you okay?" Michael politely replied.

"Your not that bad. Neither are you, Calum." Louis complimented.

"You don't seem to bad either." Calum adds.

"Thanks for the extra hand." Michael said, sincerely.

"No problem." Louis walked away. "Coming (Y/N)?"

"Yeah. I'll see you guys later okay?" You quickly followed behind Louis.

"Later, (Y/N)." They both reply.

"So what happened?" Niall asked.

"At first, I think Michael and Calum were fighting a monster then we crossed paths with them. Then Louis, Calum, and Michael took them all out together." You explained.

"I'm surprised they could put up with Louis just for that one moment. If I knew that I would have to team up with Louis, I'd sit back and watch him lose." Zayn said. Zayn and Niall aren't on good terms but they are pretending like they are for your sake.

"Well, I'm exhausted. Goodnight, (Y/N)." Niall hugged you then went to his cabin.

"Me too. Night, (Y/N)." Zayn ran back to his cabin. You went to bed as well hoping that things will be better between everyone.

"Hey Michael?" Calum peaked over the top bunk over Michael's bed.

"Huh?" Micheal is one his way to sleep.

"Do you think maybe one day when (Y/N) is in trouble, we can all put our differences to the side and help (Y/N) when he's in trouble?"

"Not really. You never know." Michael dosed off and went straight to sleep. Calum shrugged then slowly went to sleep.

In reality, the guys would rather be the first to save you instead of sharing you with one another.
