Chapter 26

*Liam's POV*

I can't believe what happened. Within a blink of an eye, Louis and Zayn are gone.

"Liam!" Michael came down from the sky, landing in front of me. "Are you okay? And where are Louis and Zayn?"

"I don't know. I just blinked they just disappeared. Something is going on!"

"First Niall and Luke, then Harry and Ashton, now Zayn and Louis. We should go to (Y/N) and ask if he knows he knows where they are?"

"I wouldn't do that." I shook my head.

"Why not?" Michael furrowed a brow.

"We'll have to stay away from him for his safety. I still love the boy and I don't want him to get hurt."

"Hi!" Calum appeared of our no where.

Michael yelped and flew into my arms, "Calum, stop doing that!" Michael scolded.

"I'm sorry. You know it's a ghostly thing."

"Anyways." I intervened. "We are the only three left and we need to have each other's backs. We don't know when this person or thing is coming. It's three of us against one....whatever is after us. Agreed."

"Agreed." Michael and Calum nod.

"So Liam, what is the last thing you remember?" Calum asked.

"I hear something in the bushes then a dart shot at me. Evidently the dart was laced in wolfsbane which caused everything to go black. Then when I woke up, Louis and Zayn were gone." I explained.

"Honestly, I think we are getting picked off because we are the strongest of all the mythical creatures. I mean, who else could cause a giant explosion and fight amongst each other. Luckily, the weren't any war casualties." Michael tone went from normal to regretful. A lot of those fights could've been avoided.

"Yeah fortunately." Calum agreed.

"We'll have to do some more investigating. If things don't add up, we'll let (Y/N) and maybe he'll help us. He's a smart guy." I added.

"What about (Y/N)?" Evan appeared sitting on a log a few feet away from us.

"Evan? What are you doing out here?" I asked.

"Just enjoying the day out. Hunting for thing you know." He says pulling out a spell book.

"That looks like Louis' book." Michael whispered to Calum.

"You know what guys? I'm missing three more pieces to my little surprise. Would you guys like to volunteer?" Evan offered, sarcastically.

"No." We all shook our heads.

"Fair enough." Evan shrugged. "You guys have been warned." Suddenly his hands glowed red like Louis.

"How is he doing that?" Calum gasped.

"With a little help of Louis' magical essence." He said firing red energy at Michael and Calum. I went into complete attack mode and launched myself at Evan who ended up trapping me a force field. "Neat trick huh?" I learned this from Louis."

Next thing he did was blast me the same way he did Calum and Michael then everything went black.

For the second time, I woke up out of my unconsciousness and found myself in what looked like cell.

I groaned, running my hands through my hair, as my vision started to clear up, I gasped loudly at the sight of Niall fainted at the bottom of a giant fish tank across the room from me, "Niall!!" I banged on the glass. In the cell next to his, Louis is tied to chair with scares all over his body. Next to Louis, there was Ashton missing a few feathers off his wings.

I looked to the left of Niall and I see Luke chained to the ground by his wrist, "Luke!! Oh my god! Where the fuck am I!"

"It's about time you woke up dog boy." Evan stepped in front of the glass, grinning. "I must admit, you were a hard guy to catch but I finally caught you."

"Let me out of his so I can rip your throat out with my fangs!!"

Kyle only smirked and pulled out a remote and pressed a button, when he pressed it, I felt a shock around my neck. I screamed in pain then fell to the ground. "Easy boy! You don't want to break your new collar. I designed it myself."

"You asshole!" I tried to rip the collar from off my neck but Evan shocked me again.

"Oh and it's powered by the electricity from a demigod. You should really thank Luke." Evan laughed and walked towards Michael's cell. He pulled a syringe out his back pocket and walked into Michael's cell after putting in the passcode.

From where I was trapped, it looked like Evan was extracting blood from Michael.

"Now I have all three of your blood samples! And there is still one more piece missing." Evan said proudly.

"One more piece?! You already got all nine of us!" I say trying to break the cell glass again. "And where is Calum?!"

"In the cell next to yours. You can't see him obviously. And the last piece will be.......someone that is worthy. Most likely me though." Evan smiled then walked out of the room that we are all trapped in.

I feel completely hopeless as I sat on the ground with my back against the cell wall. It sucks seeing the guys isolated and possibly hurting.

We have to get out of here before Evan does anymore damage to any of us.
