Y/n and Draco were in the worst states of their lives. After killing Narcissa Voldemort left, leaving Mattheo to guard them and make sure they don't escape. Shortly after Voldemort left, Mattheo got down on both of his knees and said "I'm so sorry. You guys don't deserve this. I never meant for this to happen."
"It's your fault all this happened in the first place!" Draco exclaimed. " You brought this nightmare to us. I guess it is true then 'like father like son'"
There was absolutely nothing more Draco could've said that could hurt Mattheo more. Draco knew Mattheo was insecure about his family, especially his father. But maybe he deserved it. Did he deserve it? Was he gonna end up like his father? Alone?
On the other hand, Y/n felt like her whole world was falling apart. Her mom had just died. One of the only people who cared about her was dead. Her father, Draco or any of her family didn't care about her. Her mom did and now she had no one. She was all alone in the world
