Chapter 16 (Journey to Grandline)

The clown laughed maniacally, "Good job, Cabaji! Hahahaha! To all of my followers, hundreds of billions of them around the world, we will now super flashily begin the execution!! You're trapped Monkey D Luffy, you can't move so much as an inch! Hehe, tell me Straw Hat, feel honored?! You'll die in the same place as the King of the Pirates! Hahahaha! Hahaha!"

The crowd buzzed around her with fear as she drew her blades and searched the faces of the people around her. 'Where the hell is everyone?! I'm not gonna be able to take out all these guys myself!' The wind kicked up and she shielded her eyes before peering up at the sky, "Looks like a gnarly storm is headed our way, we need to get the hell outta here."

Buggy bolstered, "Pirate Monkey D Luffy, of the Straw Hats, will be flashily executed for the crime of being stuck up and making me angry!!"

Ki crouched and lunged forward through the crowd as she watched the clown leap atop the stand with her brother. He clapped his foot on the corner of the stock and grinned wickedly at the boy. Her eyes dropped and she skidded to a stop when she caught sight of the Pirates surrounding the base of the stand.

Buggy cackled, "Alright, I hereby flashily begin the festivities of this public execution!! Ahahaha!"

Luffy's voice cracked the sky like a new blast of thunder, "Listen!! I'm the man who'll be King of the Pirates!!!"

Ki grinned and swung her head over her shoulder, a pair of familiar auras filled the air as she heard the pair yell, "Stop the execution!! Now!!"

She and Luffy called out in unison, "Sanji! Zoro!"

Zoro sneered, "Luffy, you idiot! Guess all that foolin' around finally caught up with you."

Sanji smirked up at the clown, "You startin' a sideshow? Or is that just how you look? Pretty sad, now what we gotta do is drive these goons away."

The townspeople surrounding Ki dispersed, leaving her out in the open as she waved to her fellow crewmates. "'Bout time you two showed up!!"

Sanji cooed, "Ki my dear?! Where have you been all my life?"

Buggy called out, "You made it Zoro, but you're just a little bit too late! The clown lifted his sword high over his head with a cackle.

Ki turned on her heel with the cook and swordsman in tow as they bolted to the platform. Zoro snapped, "We gotta bring down the platform."

Ki hollered, "You guys handle the ones on the ground, I'll get Luffy!" She ducked under a sword swing and slammed her fist into the man's diaphragm, knocking him to the side. A handful of men surrounded her and she grinned, pointing to the ground below her, "Area window," She dropped through the portal and the pirates crashed into each other. The exit portal landed her high in the air, even with the platform. She flung out her arm, aiming above Buggy, "Area window!"

In the moment before she dropped through the new portal she heard Luffy cry out, "Zoro! Sanji! Ki! Nami! Usopp! Sorry but... I'm dead." He grinned wildly and giggled behind his teeth.

Ki ground her teeth and flew through the rift, smashing her foot into the side of the clown's jaw. The force knocked him off balance, causing the sword's swing to miss Luffy's neck. She flipped her knife and pressed its tip into Buggy's face, "Stay the fuck away from my baby brother you clown freak!"

-From the window Smoker grunted, "Now who's that woman?"

Tashigi stepped forward, "I'm not sure Captain, I don't believe I've seen her before. It does look like she's with Straw Hat, though. Another damn pirate."

One of the Marine underlings turned to the pair, "I think I just heard her call Straw Hat her little brother!"

Smoker furrowed his brow, "An older sister? This is news to me, make note of that! I want this reported to headquarters asap!"
