Nami furrowed her brow as she looked up to the sky, "Damn, it looks like we've lost the wind again. If this keeps up, just getting to Little Garden is going to take forever! We won't be moving for a while."

Vivi nervously bit her lip, "We're starting to run out of time. We need to go."

Nami rested a hopeful hand on the princess's shoulder, "Try not to worry so much, we're gonna get you to Alabasta as quickly as we can. The wind will pick up soon."

Ki blinked at the women and yawned, "I'm gonna go take a nap. See you guys in a bit," She trudged up the stairs and swung the cabin door open with a sigh.

Sanji whined, "But Ki! I was about to make lunch, don't you want to wait until after?"

Ki waved off the cook, "Just wrap it up for me. I'll enjoy it much more when I'm not struggling to keep my eyes open," She closed the door behind her and groaned as she made her way to the girls room. Her hand clasped the doorknob and flung the door open as she kicked her boots into the corner. She dropped the pouches from her back onto the ground and flopped onto the bed with a huff, "Finally, I can get some sleep..."

...

A few hours later, Ki jolted awake as a loud explosion tore through the air. She rolled off the bed and crashed to the ground with a grumble, "What... The hell?! Can't anyone get some peace and quiet around here?! Geez!!" She blinked and the noise didn't continue so she shrugged, "Not my problem," She crossed her arms under her head and sighed as she passed back out.

...

Later that evening, Nami and Vivi came into the room and spot her passed out beside her bed. Vivi gasped while the redhead scoffed loudly, "What are you doing on the floor?"

Ki slowly raised her head and eyed the women, "Huh? Oh, good we're alive. Awesome."

Vivi raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"

Ki forced herself into a sitting position and yawned, "Whatever the hell that explosion was earlier."

Nami growled at Ki's nonchalant attitude, "You heard that and you didn't even bother to come check on everyone?!"

Ki deadpanned, "No. I did not care. I was so fucking exhausted, you're lucky I'm even awake right now," She raised an eyebrow, "What time is it anyway?"

Nami crossed her arms and leaned on her hip with an incredulous frown, "It's nighttime already. You slept like a full day."

Vivi leaned over and held out a friendly hand, "Are you feeling any better?"

Ki shrugged and gripped the princess's hand, "Yeah, definitely not as drained that's for sure," She pulled herself up and stretched her arms over her head.

Nami chuckled behind her hand, "Woke up just in time to go visit that boyfriend of yours, huh?"

Vivi flushed as she stammered, "B- Boyfriend? You were serious about that?"

Ki and the redhead raised an eyebrow at the princess but Ki nodded, "Yeah, that wasn't a lie," She frowned in annoyance, "Like Usopp suggested."

Nami grinned, "I'm surprised he hasn't tried to call you yet. It's usually like clockwork around this time."

Ki shrugged with a soft smile, "He might be busy, he's a pirate too, remember."

The three women jumped as Ki's baby transponder snail rang. The navigator chuckled, "Right on que, lover boy. Haha!" She playfully poked Ki's cheek with a coy grin, "Never too busy to call his girl!"
