She closed her eyes and drew in a deep breath, 'Sanji I hope you got 'em. 'Cause I'm gonna need you to catch me!' Just as Hachi stepped to the edge of the concrete, she reeled her knee all the way up to her chest and fired her foot at the Fishman's injured chest. Her heel dug in and for good measure, she knocked her foot into him over and over. Finally, blood spurt from the slashes she opened up and the man coughed wetly as he lost the grip on her. The heaviness of gravity hit her, she yelled, "Area window!" pointing below and off in the direction of the sniper's voice.
She fell through the portal she managed to summon just above the water crest. Her back hit the ground with a heavy thud which knocked the wind from her lungs. Nami rushed to her side, "Are you alright?!" Ki still couldn't talk but managed a thumbs up as she continued to breathe heavily.
Ki winced as she rolled onto her side, she gasped along with everyone else as Arlong held the swordsman by the neck. The Fishman tore the bandages from Zoro's torso, revealing the jagged scar marring his chest. Ki clasped her hand over her mouth as she noticed the stitches barely holding the man together, 'Oh, Zoro. Why did you fight here?'
The swordsman's voice came out shaky but stern, "I told you. We'll win this game."
The ground shook from some kind of explosion under the depths. Her eyes shot to the area she remembered the giazer coming up. Luffy's body sprang up from the pool and rocketed into the sky as he shouted, "Wahhhhh! I'm back!!"
Arlong growled, "Damn that rubber man."
Zoro careened his head back to watch in horror as the rubber boy shot his arms out and latched his hands on the swordsman's shoulders, "Huh? Hey, hold on, what are you-"
The swordsman tore through the air as Luffy sprang forward and yelled, "Let's switch!" The rubber boy clenched his fists and reared his head back, "Gum Gum Bell!!" The boy's head connected with a loud 'crack' against the top of Arlong's head. Once his sandals touched the ground, he immediately launched another attack, "And whip!" He spun on his heel and slammed his leg into the Fishman, knocking him back. He finishes off with, "Gum Gum Pistol!" The Fishman's back crashed into the bricks, creating a crater in the stronghold's wall.
Ki coughed as she pulled herself up to her hands and knees, "I'm gonna go check on the swordsman. He didn't look good and after Luffy tossing him like a ragdoll, I can't imagine he's doing too much better."
Nami nodded, "It's probably best for you to get as far away from Arlong as possible."
Ki looked over her shoulder at the shark Fishman and grimaced, "You're probably not wrong about that," She tapped the ground and sighed, "Show me, Roronoa Zoro."
Arlong's eyes shot to the woman on the ground, an image of the falling swordsman floating in front of her. He ground his teeth and started charging her, "I can't let you escape! I need that power!"
Ki's eyes widened but softly chuckled as a rubber hand swung swiftly around the man. Luffy shrieked, "I'm not done with you!! Get over here!!" She yanked the portal open and fell backwards into it as she flipped off the furious Fishman.
Her body continued falling and she flipped herself over so she could spot Zoro. He was a distance below her still plunging toward the ground. She snapped her arms to her sides and angled her body into a nosedive to speed up her velocity. When she was close enough she snatched him into her arms and screamed, "Area window!" They fell through, slowing down a little but not enough. She yelled again, "Area window!" They slowed a touch more and she opened her eyes to aim at the grass, "This is gonna be bumpy! I'm sorry! Area window!" She flipped their bodies so her back was the one skidding onto the grass. They came to a screeching stop as they smacked into a nearby wall. She coughed and struggled to rise into a sitting position. Her back burned from the scraps and welts already forming and her body ached from the weight of the swordsman landing on her, 'Heh, he's gonna be so pissed,' She gently pushed against his shoulder blades to shift herself to the side. She rested his back against the wall and looked at his face, which was stunned but clearly angry. She chuckled, "Not sure if you're more pissed at Luffy or me right now," When he didnt respond, she waved in front of his face, "Uh... You in there, Zoro? Hello?"
