Chapter 32 (Alabasta Arc)

The next morning, Ki rolled over and cursed the sun under her breath. She grumbled as she sat up, "Damn, the sun came early."

Nami tossed her pillow at the raven haired woman, "How are you up so early?! I thought you'd be hung over, geez."

Ki caught the pillow and launched it back at the redhead, clapping her in the face. She chuckled as she tossed the blankets off her legs, "It's gonna take a lot more than that to put me out of commission, Red."

Vivi sleepily sat up and rubbed her eyes, "Good morning."

Ki chuckled as she strode over to the little bathroom, "Mornin', princess," She quickly brushed her teeth and hair before stepping to the closet. Her hands flipped through a few options then she called to the navigator, "Hey, Red. Any idea what kinda weather we're gonna be looking at?"

Nami groaned and clutched the pillow over her head, "Ughhhh. Summer-y probably."

Ki shrugged, "Alright, shorts it is," She tugged her shirt over her head and snatched her bra from atop the dresser, fastening it in place before tossing on a cropped tank top. She gathered her socks, fishnets, underwear and shorts as she trotted back to the bathroom. Her laugh rang out from behind the door, "Don't wanna fluster the princess with my bare ass."

Vivi fumed and clutched the pillow to her face as she whined, "Why must you taunt me?!"

Nami finally sat up and smacked the princess in the back of the head, "She's doing it cause she gets a rise outta you! Thanks, Ki! I'm up now!"

Ki swung open the door, fully dressed and makeup in place. She grinned at the scowling redhead, "You're fine. Getting up a little early isn't gonna kill you."

The navigator growled, "No but it might get someone else killed!!"

Vivi scooted off the bed and slid into the bathroom behind Ki. She stammered, "I'm just gonna freshen up while she chills out."

Ki nodded as she walked over to her bed and plopped down on the side. She grabbed her boots and tucked each foot inside before pushing herself up. Nami continued her death glare but Ki shook it off and waved, "I'm gonna go make some coffee. I'm sure Blondie is already working on breakfast, so if you want any you should probably get dressed too."

Nami lobbed her pillow at the door as Ki closed it, "Ah! I need my full hours of beauty sleep!!"

Ki chuckled at the loud thud and the muffled yelling, "Man, someone is grumpy," She made her way down the hall into the kitchen and smiled as she spotted the cook.

Sanji turned on his heel and grinned with his cigarette tucked between his teeth, "Good morning my sweet dahlia! How did you sleep?"

Ki walked over to the counter and prepared herself a cup of coffee. She took a sip and let out a satisfied sigh, "Pretty decent. Are the other guys up already?"

The cook nodded, "All but Mosshead, he's still asleep out on the deck I think. I'm just about done with the food if you wouldn't mind going to grab them."

Ki nodded and sat her cup on the table before pushing the kitchen door open and exiting out onto the deck. She whistled, "Come on, boys! Breakfast is ready!"

Luffy and Usopp snapped to, with grins, "Ki! Good morning! I have something to show you!" They scowled at each other and shouted, "No I have something to show you!" The pair smacked their foreheads together and shoved back and forth, "Me! Noooo! Me!"

Zoro yawned and got to his feet, "So your dumbass got a bounty before me, huh? That's some bullshit."

Luffy and Usopp gasped at the swordsman as they toppled to the ground, "Hey!!"
