In a small port town in the UK, a woman is found dead in her apartment. The community is shocked to learn the circumstances of her death: she was reportedly tortured and beaten to death over several days. Just as the police begin their investigation, another victim is found dead the next day under very similar conditions. Panic replaces the initial understanding among the residents. A few years earlier, a man had killed five women in just two months. Could a new serial killer be at work in the area? The investigation will reveal a much darker picture.

A small coastal town located in Suffolk County in southeastern Great Britain, Ipswich has long been the most important port in the UK for merchant shipping.
The small town of just over 100,000 residents is also one of the oldest in England and still retains many historic buildings and museums, making it a popular tourist destination that attracts millions of visitors each year.
But a coin always has two sides:
While Ipswich is generally a calm town with a relatively low crime rate, violence does exist, and the town was the hunting ground of a serial killer in 2006: Steve Wright, known as the Suffolk Strangler.
He had killed 5 prostitutes between October 30 and December 10, 2006, before being arrested on December 19, 2006, and sentenced to life in prison. Investigators believe he may have had other victims, although this has not been proven to date. Aside from this, violent crimes are rare in the area.
In terms of the local population, a portion of Ipswich's residents are now very poor. There is a significant homeless population, and there are also individuals who, despite having a roof over their heads, live on extremely modest incomes. To escape the harshness of life, many turn to alcohol and drugs. This second group often mingles with the homeless and marginalized, gathering to drink together, frequently in the streets but not exclusively. They form what is known in England as street drinkers.
Within this community, Rosalyn Hunt, known as Rosie, 41, was once a cheerful and lively little girl who loved animals and aspired to become a veterinarian. However, becoming a vet requires schooling, and Rosie never really enjoyed school. Additionally, at the age of 18, she had to care for her two children, which effectively dashed her childhood dreams.
