Taylors POV

I'm sitting in my room alone. Just working on some school work when I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I yell, looking over at the door from where I'm sitting on the floor.

"Hey baby, can you come downstairs me and your father need to talk to you." My mom says, peaking her head inside my room.

"Uhm yeah I'm coming." I say getting up to follow my mom down the stairs. I'm a good kid, which is why I'm a little confused about what they need to talk to me about.

I see my dad sitting down at the dining table. My mom join in him by taking the spot next to him. I slowly walk over to them, sitting down across and crossing my arms over my stomach.

"Hey kid." My dad says and I smile.

"Hi dad."

"So you know your uncle Travis right?" He says leaning his elbows on the table.

"Dad he's not my uncle. He's your friend. We're not blood related." I say rolling my eyes. My dad's friend is Travis Kelce. Tight end for the Kansas City chiefs. My dad and him have been friends since high school and my dad almost went pro for football just like him but then my mom got pregnant with me and he couldn't just leave my mom here. Travis is also insanely hot.

"But yes, I know Travis obviously." I say.

"Well his home is getting remodeled so during the off season for football he's gonna come here and live with us." My dad says.

"What?" I raise my eyebrows, shocked.

"He's gonna live with us?" I repeat.

"Yes, just for a couple months. He's gonna stay in the guest room and I expect you to be nothing but kind to him." My dad says and I open my mouth to protest.

"No Taylor. No buts. He's coming here and you are going to be nice. I know you're used to being an only child but you can act like a brat." My mom says sternly, Catching me off guard.

"Now he's gonna be here any minute. I want you to sit on that couch and wait." My dad says pointing a finger at me.

I huff and go stomp over to the couch. I wish I would've brought my phone down, now I just have to sit and wait with my thoughts.

I don't know how long I spaced out for but I was startled by the sound of the doorbell ringing. I roll my eyes and stand up, walking over to the door as my dad opens it.

"Hey Andrew, Blake." Travis says, hugging both of my parents.

"Taylor, say hi." My dad says and I put on a fake smile and wave.

"Wow Taylor, last time I saw you was a while ago. You look just like your mom with that hair." He says and I blush a little.

"Taylor why don't you go show Travis the guest room." My dad says and I nod, motioning for Travis to follow me.

"You're quiet." Travis says once we get away from my parents. I turn to look at him as we're walking.

"Just when my parents are around." I say pushing the guest bedroom door open.

"This is your new home for the next couple months. There's a full bathroom through that door and a closet through that door." I say showing him around.

"Thank you for showing me around darling." He says and I turn away from him so he can't see the effect his little nickname had on me.

"Yeah, my rooms just next door so if you need anything feel free to ask." I say.

"Got it, thanks Taylor." He says and I nod, walking out of the room.

Maybe this won't be super terrible.
