Camp Half Blood
I was playing cards with Mr. D when suddenly Ares spanned in front of us I hate to admit it but I may have thrown my cards out of fear.
" Good to see you too Chiron" Ares responded to my scared and shocked face.
" Sorry Ares you just startled me I was not expecting you for a while why are you here may I ask?" I respond. Ares rarely ever comes to camp so my curiosity got the best of me. I may be thousands of years old but some things still make me curious.
" Well if you really must know" he responded with a cocky face that made me almost strangle him" I have a demigod child in London and was wondering if some campers can go and get the child or you will work too."
This news shocked me mainly because i had no idea he had a kid in London because now there are a lot of demigods from america not the UK. Let alone he also wanted some of the campers to just go to London to get his kid that he is very capable of getting himself. i don't want the campers to risk their lives to go get a kid that we don't know whats capable of.
" I am not letting my campers go to London to get a kid that we don't know what is capable of so me and Mr. D will go and get this child." I pause for a moment before continuing" can you tell us some things about this kid so we can know we are grabbing the correct child?" I asked
" Of course the child is a girl if she took after her mother Lily potter she should have red hair and a fiery sprite. As for her age i'm guessing about 1 day old she was left on a road in a small town in London." He answers with a small smile. But gets rewarded with our shocked faces.
" I'm going to kill this Lily Potter. How dare she leave a 1 day old on the side of the road. Are you ready to leave right now Chiron or are you going to keep sitting down in shock?" I barely realize that Mr. D is taking action and not me. I just not and we leave for London.
A few hours later in London
When we arrive in London we start our search for this poor child. Mr. D takes one side of the town while I take the other side. As im walking down the road i get off track and start to look at the shops they look somewhat different form the shops in america but most of the stuff has the same things but some with different names.
I walk for a few more hours until i get a iris message from Mr. D
"Chiron I found the child im on ( Make street name if u want :) ) Do you want to come and find me or wait for me to find you?" Mr. d asks in the nices voice i have ever heard from him. Must be because of the child if not ,then he is going to get laughed at later.
" I will come to you because i don't want you to have to walk so far because you have the child i will see you soon" I answer. Then i wave a hand through the message and start to walk to the new demigod child.
Mr. D POV ( bet you did not see that coming ;)
I was walking to find this child. I felt bad for her because of what she has already gone through at her age. Normally i would not have pity for children when they come to camp, but like i said she is young, only 1 day old. If i do find this Lily Potter when i am looking for this child she might find herself hung upside down with vines.
I walk for hours until i hear a small cry from a ditch. I though Ares said she was left on the side of the road. The road or sidewalk is like 5 feet away. I hope she had roled in there because if someone kicked this child they are going to end up in the underworld hopefully the fields of punishment by the end of this day. I pick up the baby and decide to tell the donkey......, er i mean Chiron that I have found the poor thing I pull out a golden drachma and through it in the running fountain by the ditch.
"Chiron I found the child im on ( Make street name if u want :) ) Do you want to come and find me or wait for me to find you?" I ask the centaur on the other side of the message in a soft voice because of the childs most likely sensitive ears.
"" I will come to you because i don't want you to have to walk so far because you have the child i will see you soon" he answers. He must have waved his hand through the message because it goes dark and i can no longer see anyone.
I sit down on the ground with the child and wait for chiron . I start to wonder what her name is because we have just been calling her the child. I probably looked stupid but i wanted to see how she would react to specific names.
" How about Regan" her face made a weird face" No okay that did not sound well. What about Emily Actually, I don't like that name. Lily wait no thats your mothers name and I would want to kill her every time i hear your name." this goes on a while and I did not realize that Chiron was back and watching me very amused.
" What in the name of the gods are you doing Dionysus?" He asks with an amused smile on his lips.
" well If you have to know im trying to find her a name and we both don't like any of them you got any ideas?" i ask because I think his ideas will be awful.
Chiron takes one good look at the little girl then he finds his answer"What about amelia?" The little girls face lights up and she starts to giggle.
" are you Fuc...... fudgeing serious Chiron i have been here for hours and you find a name she likes in what 20 seconds?" I ask a little mad that all my efforts have been wasted.
" It was actually 15 seconds but you know who's counting" he says with the biggest smirk I have even seen on his face" But lets not waste any more time lets get back to Manhattan and Ares" with that we both leave with the child or now known as Amelia daughter of Ares.
