Stay, Please
In the silence of the night, where shadows play,
I find myself lost, with so much to say.
Your footsteps echo, fading far away,
And I beg you softly, please, won’t you stay? The world outside is cold, a bitter frost,
But here in my arms, you’ll never be lost.
I’ll hold you close, keep the fears at bay,
So please, my love, don’t turn away.Every moment with you is a treasure I seek,
Without you, my world would be hollow, weak.
You’re the warmth in my heart, the light in my day,
Please, just this once, choose to stay.I know I’m flawed, a soul full of scars,
But I’ll fight for you, even against the stars.
Don’t leave me now, don’t slip away,
For in this heart, forever you’ll stay.
