Today is our flight to Japan for our campaign, the one we'd been counting down to for the past month.

Finally, I'd get to see something new. It's been a while since I've been abroad. My life in Seoul was basically a cycle of work, home, parties, and, sure, let's count the time with Haerin too. At least I'd get to see something different, even if it's just for work.

And, of course, Haerin popped into my thoughts again (and if you're wondering about what happened after in her office, we sure had a coffee and the rest was history you know so well).

Over the past few days, we'd been seeing each other more often and talking about some random things. There was definitely some development there, and I was getting used to it. It felt like things were shifting, and I wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing.

Despite everything, neither of us had brought up what we're doing or what we're like. No labels, no agreement, it's just that we see each other when we wanted to, mostly for sex. If Haerin felt like it, she would just appear out of nowhere or do something about it to happen, but she doesn't force me or anything.

In my part, I never made the first move to ask for a fuck or talk about our situation. I'd rather chew glass before I make it happen.

"Why are you here? Dani's gonna sit next to me, move over!" I just got out from the restroom when I heard Hanni complaining. I looked over to see her clutching the armrest of the window seat she had already claimed, glaring at Seunghan.

Hanni and I were supposed to sit together at the window seat in the middle row, but apparently, Seunghan had beaten me to it. And being the stubborn mule he is, he wasn't budging.

"Nope, I called dibs. I already planned to sit here." Seunghan shook his head and sat firmly on what could've been my seat.

"You can't just claim seats like that, you idiot!" Hanni whined and she was really adamant about it. Everyone else around us, including from our team had already settled in.

"Too bad, I got here first." Seunghan said, like that made any sense. Hanni wasn't having it so I decided to walk near them.

"I'll kick you out of here if you don't move your ass up."

"Kiss my butt."

The two of them were going at it like cats and dogs, and neither one was willing to back down.

I glanced around and notice the curious looks we were getting from the other passengers (aside from our co-workers) and flight attendants. The last thing I wanted was to be the center of attention on a crowded flight.

"Hanni," I tried to keep my voice calm, "Maybe we should just move to the back, that's only space left."

She whipped her head towards me and pleaded, "But Dani, you know how I hate sitting in the back." I could see how much she wanted to stay where she was because I know she gets jetflag when she sits in the back. Seunghan, on the other hand, looked like he was ready to dig in for a long haul.

"Nope." was the only thing he said.

I sighed, realizing that someone had to give in, and it was probably going to be me. "Okay, I'll switch seats. You can stay here."

Hanni's eyes widened in protest, "No, Dani, don't! It's not the same without you next to me. Plus, I don't like this mutt here with me." Seughan wiggled his eyebrows, teasing her.
