The rest of summer break seemed to go about the same. I got closer to the boys with each day. There were lots of nights when everyone came back to mine for dinner. It caused lots of inside jokes and the comfort grew with each day. But it was the first day back to the racing schedule and I was nervous.

Lando was going to pick me up. I was flying with the boys to Zandvoort. It would be my first Grand Prix outside of the States. Not that I was nervous about that. I had been to the Austin Grand Prix a few times but this was different. I was working. And I would be interacting with the rest of the grid.

I was happy to know that I was a few hours away from seeing Logan and Alex, but I didn't know how that would go with Lando and Oscar. I hadn't exactly told them who my brother was. Oscar knew, and he had kept the information from Lando. Why? I couldn't know. Maybe it was to respect my choice in telling him.

But the knock on my door pulled me back to reality. I quickly grabbed everything that I needed. It would be a long flight and I had no clue how it would blow over. I opened the door to see a very excited Lando.

"Morning..."

"Good morning!"

"Oh, wow. You are chipper."

He shrugged, taking the bags from my hands. "It's the first weekend back and you're coming with us. No reason not to be excited."

I followed him to the car, glad he hadn't taken the McLaren. The car that sat in front of me was still something I could never afford or even dream of owning. It was beautiful and I took time to look at it while Lando put the bags in the car.

"See something you like?"

I looked up to see him leaning against the car, watching me droll over it. "Oh, sorry."

"No, no. Take your time. If you want, you can drive it to the airport."

"Really?"

He shrugged. "As long as you don't crash it."

I got out of the car, thanking the man who opened the door for me. Lando looked at me from across the car, a giant smile on his face. I raised an eyebrow, confused at his looks in my direction. He had been giving them to me since he had picked me up this morning.

"What?"

"Nothing. You just look really happy."

"I got to drive a car that I wouldn't have even dreamed about."

"If a car is all it takes to make you happy, I will buy every single one."

I tried to ignore the flirty undertone of that statement as we walked into the airport. Oscar and Zak were waiting for us. Izzy was across the way, grabbing a coffee from the pop-up. Oscar waved at me and I smiled at him. His headphones were over one ear and I could tell he was wanting to completely ignore everyone once we got on the flight. I was the same way.

Izzy walked over and handed me a cup. "London fog, just how you like it."

"You are my savior."
