Waking up next to Riley was not what I was expecting. But as I rolled over to turn off my alarm, there she laid. Her bright red hair was plastered against the pillow and she looked so peaceful. My mind raced as I tried to memorize the moment while trying to remember what happened for us to end up in this position.
She had come in with ice cream, we fell asleep while watching a movie. I sighed, thankful that it was nothing more than that. I trusted myself not to make a move on her but there was also my reputation that came for a reason.
I pushed that to the side, opening my phone. There was only one person I could tell this too. Or at least, a few people.
