"Ri, Ri."

I turned around to see Izzy speed walking to me. I closed my iPad as I went to meet her. She put her hands on my shoulder and fear started to build into my chest.

"Iz.."

"Lando got P17."

"Oh."

"He looks pissed."

I nodded. "Where is he?"

Izzy didn't even get the chance to say as Lando stormed past both of us and in the direction of the drivers room. I sighed and said a quiet thank you to Izzy before grabbing my water and following him back there.

I knocked on the door. "Lan."

I didn't hear anything and slowly opened it. He was sitting on the floor with his head in his hands and I could hear the soft intake of his breathing. It felt like he was crying but I didn't want to assume anything.

"Lan." He didn't look up or speak. "Do you want me to sit with you?"

He nodded and I carefully took the spot to his right. I set the water between his legs so he could see it but he didn't move to reach for it. I laid my head on his shoulder, offering a bit of comfort while not knowing if he wanted any.

"Do you want to talk about-"

I didn't get the chance to finish my sentence as I was pulled into a hug. I let out a little noise at the surprise but relaxed after a second. His head was tucked into my neck and I started to rub circles on his back. We stayed like that for a minute and I didn't move, knowing he didn't want to let go. He would move when he was ready and right now, this was where we needed to be.

"I'm sorry.."

"Lan, what are you sorry for?"

He leaned back, wiping at his face as if I cared about the tears. He tried to force a smile but it wasn't all there.

"I didn't mean to lose it like that." He let out a dry chuckle.

I shook my head, leaning forward to push some of his sweat damp hair off his forehead. "You wanted to do well. And it hurts when you don't."

"I'm still sorry for losing it."

"Trust me, I've had worse breakdowns over smaller things."

He snorted and I smiled, happy there was some part of that happy boy back. "I would have paid to see that."

"I once threw my pointe shoes so hard I shattered a mirror. Surprising part was my pointe shoes went unscathed."

"Oh, that's intense." He took the water and chugged a bit of it. "I about shattered my helmet today."

"I like that helmet."

"You'll like my Singapore one a lot more."

"Do I get a sneak peak?"
