My alarm went off and I rubbed my eyes, reaching over to turn it off. There were a few messages from Izzy telling me what time we were leaving. It was Free Practice 3 and Quali day which meant it was going to be busy. I didn't mind, it meant I could forget about the conversation we had last night but as I rolled over and actually woke up, I realized that I wasn't in my room.

It was Lando's.

Which meant I fell asleep in it.

With him.

Fuck.

I looked around the room to see if he was still in it but it was practically perfect. Minus the tubs of forgotten ice cream, there was no showing that there was anyone in the room. Like at all. It was clean.

I groaned and opened the messages he sent me.

Lan :)

didn't want to wake you
tea is on the bedside table
see you at the track

I didn't have the energy to send anything back as most of it was going towards beating myself up. I slid out of the bed, grabbing the tea that was left for me and snuck out of his hotel room like it was some fucked one night stand.

Thankfully my room was only across the hall and no one else that we would know was on our floor. Oscar was a few doors down but if he left with Lando, I should be safe. It didn't get rid of the fact that I still felt like an idiot.

I didn't even mean to fall asleep with him. I guess I had been so tired from my conversation with Izzy and the bit of wine we had making it worse. And I did find myself falling asleep around him. He was comfortable, safe. He made me feel safe. And it fucked with my head. I wanted to talk to Lily about it but I didn't even know how to start that conversation. Maybe I could find a way when I saw her at the track today. Alex said she was going to be there.

I didn't touch my tea as I got ready. Hell, I didn't even know what time Lando had gotten it. It could have been ice cold by now. I sighed. A burnt orange baby tee, some black jeans, my racing jacket, my Jordan's. A solid outfit and it was easier just to throw my hair up into a ponytail, pulling out framing pieces.

Izzy knocked on the door, and I grabbed my passes and bag. From the look of her, she didn't know anything. I trusted Lando enough not to say anything about it but then again, boys would spin any story. I left my tea where it sat in my room, completely forgotten in the rush of my morning.

After I made sure it was okay with Izzy, I stalked my way down to the Williams garage. Lily would be there and maybe she could offer some insight on it all. After all, she was dating Alex. That was a world she knew.

"Riri?"

I looked up and saw Logan. I forced myself to smile as I walked over to him. He pulled me into a hug and I gave one back.

"I didn't know if they would let you over here."

I pulled back from the hug. "I just have to be back before the sessions start and I wanted you to say hi to my favorite girl."
