I hummed softly to folklore as it played from my phone as I took all my clothes from their bags. Lando and I had gotten to the hotel a few hours after we landed, spending most of the day shopping. He wouldn't let me see the tags or the receipts because he didn't want to make me feel guilty. I knew it had to be a crap ton of money, all of these were designer. But he said it didn't matter because it was stuff I needed and wanted.

I still felt bad for making him spend all that money but he seemed excited to do it. Every time I grabbed something, he looked so happy to see that I found something. And maybe now I would feel a bit better. I would fit in with what the other girls were wearing and I would look a bit professional. But a knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts. I dropped the blouse in my hands, walking over to the door.

"Oh my god, hi lovelies."

Alex, Lily, Kelly, and Heidi were standing in the hallway with bags in their hands. I knew they had planned on coming over but I didn't expect this. I opened the door wider for them and they walked in, giving me side hugs and cheek kisses.

"You guys are here." I turned as I closed the door. "Can I ask why?"

Lily set her bag down, looking around the room. "Because we are going out."

"I am still getting over the last hangover."

Alex snorted. "You are glowing, you cannot lie to get out of this."

"Especially since it's a karaoke bar."

I raised an eyebrow. "If we're doing that, we have to pregame."

Kelly smiled as she held up a bottle of wine and a bottle of champagne. I grinned as I moved some of my stuff off the bed and reached over to grab my phone, switching the playlist to something that would better fit the mood.

"You speak my language, let's do this."

I ran my hands through my hair, tilting my head to look in the mirror. Something felt off and I was trying to figure it out when Alex walked in the door.

"Hi, pretty girl."

"Hi, Alex."

She came to stand next to me, leaning her head down to rest on my shoulder as she looked at us both in the mirror. I smiled at her through the reflection, still trying to figure out what was off with whatever was going on with me. I could tell she noticed as she stood back up, turning me to look at her.
