POV Katsuki

The collaboration with Zero went smoothly. They understood each other without many words and complemented each other on a deeper level. So in terms of teamwork, the homeless caterpillar really couldn't fault Katsuki this time.

He even enjoyed the exercise, despite the annoying extras they had to retrieve. Running through the forest alongside the greenette and chasing after a common goal filled Katsuki with joy - that and the fact that they were in the lead, admittedly.

They reached their third destination. As soon as Katsuki saw who it was, he smiled broadly. Although the katsudon had elicited a different reaction from Zero than he had hoped for, the sight of their mutual idol would certainly bring joy to the other boy.

"Hello young Bakugou. And you must be young Zero. I've heard a lot about you." The hero struck a pose and flashed his famous smile.

"Hello All Might!" exclaimed Katsuki. "Please allow us to take your butt to the safe zone." With shining eyes, he looked over at Zero and stumbled.

Instead of showing enthusiasm, the winged boy had contorted his face and grabbed his forehead. Was he in pain? Katsuki was about to ask him what was wrong when he noticed the blank look on his teammate's face. The sparkle in his bright eyes had disappeared. They seemed shadowed and dull, as if Zero wasn't really there.

The next moment he was gone. Katsuki blinked a few times and looked around. There was no sign of Zero. That meant he had used his quirk. But why?

A crash sounded. At the same time, All Might was flung to the side. The hero landed in the undergrowth, which burst under his weight.

"What the hell?!" Katsuki looked around in all directions, but could see no one.

All Might scrambled to his feet in the meantime.

"Zero? Is that you? What the fuck?!"

Another punch must have hit All Might in the stomach. He hunched forward with a groan, only for his head to be thrown backwards immediately afterwards. He staggered back a step, but managed to secure his footing and assumed a defensive stance. All Might looked around to all sides. The forest was eerily silent. Not a footstep could be heard from Zero. "Young Bakugou, what's going on?"

All Might lost his balance and went to his knees - probably a kick to the back of the knee from behind.

"I have no idea!" exclaimed Katsuki desperately. "Zero, cut the crap! What's gotten into you?"Meanwhile, the number 1 hero took more blows. "Young Zero is responsible for this?" All Might asked as soon as he was allowed a breather.

"Yeah, damn it! His quirk has something to do with invisibility. But that's not all, according to Aizawa. One minute everything was fine and we were talking normally, then Zero suddenly looked all weird and disappeared." That gave him an idea. All the training grounds were under complete video surveillance so that the teachers could observe and evaluate their students. "Aizawa!" Katsuki shouted loudly. "Get your sleepy ass over here. We need your quirk!"

Hopefully the teacher had realized what was going on by now at the latest. If they could see Zero again, it would be much easier to slow him down and find out what had gotten into him.

All Might looked around to all sides. He seemed to sense something, or maybe his instincts, honed over decades in the field, were helping him. The hero ducked and lashed out with his left arm at the same time. A strangled gasp was heard and a jumble of green flew through the air. Zero crashed into one of the trees.
