POV Katsuki
Fuck! Bloody hell!
Katsuki couldn't believe what he had just said. How embarrassing could you actually be? Angel ... that sounded like something out of a bad romcom movie. Even if Izuku, with his magnificent wings, really did look like what Katsuki would imagine an angel to look like.
His classmates probably thought his pride had been hurt by the defeat and that was why he had fled the gym. Well, partly true. The much more important reason, however, was the problem in his pants.
When Izuku had lain beneath him and groaned, Katsuki had become almost painfully aware of their position. No wonder his stupid mouth had blurted out such an intimate nickname right after, when his brain was no longer adequately supplied with oxygen.
He peeled himself out of his sweaty gym clothes and rushed into the shower before any of his classmates could see him. There he set the water as cold as he could stand it. Normally, Katsuki preferred warmer temperatures. He didn't like the cold - which was probably due to the nature of his quirk - but today the cold shower was necessary.
If he had missed Izuku in the past, it wasn't like this. While Katsuki had been sure since the beginning of high school that he wasn't into girls, he hadn't expected his lost childhood friend to trigger such feelings in him if they ever met again.
"Fuck," Katsuki cursed quietly to himself as he resolutely washed his hair. His thoughts returned to the green-haired boy. Izuku had become incredibly strong. Katsuki hadn't just lost to him because he had been distracted by Izuku's unexpected groan and the sight of his sweaty body.
The nerd was more than just skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Katsuki had already realized that after his fight against Kiri. At the latest when he had sent Icyhot to the mat after only a few maneuvers, it had become clear to everyone that their new classmate knew what he was doing.
Again, Katsuki wondered what had happened to Izuku after his disappearance. Brain Fucker had confirmed the suspicion of abduction. What had happened to Izuku there? Whatever it was, he had learned to fight meanwhile. A big part of him wondered at what cost this progress had been made. Yes, Izuku had wanted to be a hero back then, and combat training was definitely part of that job. Only, Katsuki was pretty sure the nerd hadn't been aware of that fact at the time. The other boy had changed. Just like himself. He wanted to get to know the new Izuku and at the same time show him how he had changed in the years of separation as well.
Voices were raised in the next room. His classmates had obviously finished their lesson. Katsuki rinsed his hair, grabbed a towel and left the communal shower. Not in the mood for stupid comments. Besides, he didn't want to see Izuku naked in the shower, at the same time there was little he wanted to more than that. It would simply be too embarrassing to get a boner in front of the others. Not to mention he would then really have to be compared to the perverted grape. And before it came to that, Katsuki would rather blow himself to smithereens.
Once in the changing room, he ignored the looks and conversations of the others and got dressed as quickly as possible.
"All right, Bakubro?"
He gave Kiri a silent sideways glance and merely grumbled.
"Will you wait for me? Then we can go back to the dorms together," his friend suggested.
"Before you spend the rest of the evening whining..." He acted annoyed, but they both knew it was mainly for show.
"Great, I'll hurry!" He got a big shark grin in return.
"I'll wait outside. You can't stand the stink in here."
A few of the other boys made offended replies, all of which Katsuki ignored. Instead, he slung his sports bag over his shoulder and left the changing room.
