So much to tell and so few posts to do so ... >.< My home has been ravaged by the flu from hell over the last 2 weeks. First my daughter got it and since last Sunday I've been totally laid up. I'm still coughing more than I'm breathing normally. -.-

Anyway, here's the chapter you've all been waiting for. Have fun!
________

POV Katsuki

"Then do it."

What had possessed him to just blurt out this newly awakened desire? Had Izuku really only been back in his life for three days? It seemed so much longer to Katsuki. But the boy in front of him wasn't Izuku, at least not the same as before, Katsuki had to agree.

Zero was completely different and yet the same at heart. Apart from the mountain of trauma, Katsuki quite liked the development. He had known that at the latest after their training match on the first day. Which didn't mean that he wasn't willing to work through the trauma together.

Zero's eyes, shimmering with tears, were still focused on him. How long had Katsuki been away, lost in his thoughts? He leaned forward. Zero's quickened breath brushed against his heated face.

Their noses touched and Katsuki turned his head slightly to the side. He took a deep breath. Katsuki was going to be a hero, he might as well show enough courage to kiss the boy he'd been missing for almost a decade. They could always question what that meant for them both later.

Zero's eyelids fluttered closed. He stood on tiptoe and pushed himself towards Katsuki. Their lips finally met. For a split second, they both froze. Katsuki didn't know what it was like for Zero, but for the blond hero aspirant, this was his first kiss.

He had watched Kiri and Mina eat each other up often enough, so at least he wasn't completely without a plan. He placed his left hand on Zero's waist and pulled him even closer. Katsuki wanted to feel his warmth, to have confirmation that his former childhood friend was still alive and really was a part of his life again.

Zero relaxed noticeably and sank against him. Katsuki was only too happy to support him while he moved his lips more carefully than he would ever have thought possible. Not because he believed Zero was fragile, but because he wanted to savor the moment for as long as possible.

However, they quickly shed their initial restraint. Zero buried his uninjured hand in Katsuki's neck and pressed against him almost desperately. A gasp escaped him as he pulled his hair. Zero took the opportunity to push his tongue through his open lips and explore Katsuki's mouth.

The blond answered him willingly and came towards him. Katsuki's hands embraced the smaller boy, but he reminded himself to restrain himself. He had been in the middle of his morning jog when he had bumped into Zero. He had been sweating profusely ever since he had chased after the winged one. His hands were getting warmer. If Katsuki wasn't careful, a spark could form that would cause his sweat to explode.

That couldn't happen under any circumstances. He didn't want to hurt Zero - ever again. And yet Katsuki pulled him even closer. He slid both hands from Zero's waist up his back. Part of him still feared that Zero might disappear again. With his fingertips, he tenderly stroked the short feathers at the base of Zero's wings. They were so soft that Katsuki wanted to feel them between his fingers all day long.

A tremor ran through the slender body in his arms. Zero moaned into the kiss. The sound, along with Katsuki's blood, shot straight to his groin.

Zero clawed at Katsuki's jacket, arching his back in search of support. Spurred on by the reaction, Katsuki stroked the delicate feathers once more. He was not disappointed.
