"Dad, she doesn't remember you."

At the end of the day, Maeve was walking beside Azra's car, and her sadness was evident. As Azra made her way to the parking lot, she noticed Maeve's somber expression. She felt a pang of guilt but didn't know how to approach her. Just then, Lailah appeared beside Azra.

"Hanggang kailan mo ba siya titiisin?" Lailah asked. Her voice was full of concern.

Azra's face hardened. "Iiwan nalang niya ako nang basta-basta?! Bahala siya sa buhay niya!"

Lailah's eyes softened as she looked at Maeve, who was lost in her own thoughts. "Dinamay mo pa talaga anak niyo sa kalokohan mo."

Azra sighed, feeling the weight of her decisions. "Eh kasi naman, basta nalang nagpapahatid. Di man lang ako ipaglaban."

**********Flashback**********

"I'll take what I can. I know Maeve and I will find each other again," Azra said, her resolve unwavering.

After God agreed to Azra's plea to become mortal and lose her divine memories, Lailah arrived with a small baby angel cradled in her arms. Michael, appearing beside them, mumbled, "Jariel..."

Michael continued, "Dad, kaya pala parang may iba kay Maeve Jariel. This little boy is our angel Jariel."

"What do you mean?" Azra asked. There was confusion in her voice.

God smiled gently and explained, "This was all part of your mission, Azra. I never said Maeve would die. I told you to make her fall for you."

"Bakit nagpapahatid siya? Ung doctor... sabi wala siyang sakit pero bakit siya inatake sa puso?" Azra inquired, her brow furrowing.

God looked at Michael, and the latter sheepishly added, "Oops. Hehe, my bad. Akala ko siya si Jariel eh."

Azra glared at her brother, but God raised a hand to stop her. "Stop, Azrael. All of this happened for a reason. I wanted to test your love for Maeve too. And it seemed that you passed. You're willing to give up everything for her."

Maeve slowly appeared with her parents. Azra walked toward them and embraced Maeve tightly. Maeve's parents looked at Azra with warm, reassuring smiles.

"Alagaan mo ang anak namin ha? Napaaga ata akyat niyo," Maeve's mom said with a touch of humor.

"Opo," Azra replied, her voice filled with sincerity.

Azra then looked at the baby in Lailah's arms. Lailah handed Jariel to Azra, and Maeve smiled as she gazed at the newborn.

Then they turned back to God. "Paano siya? Hindi namin siya makakasama?" Azra asked.

"He is a watcher of humanity. He's free wherever he wants to go. Pero pwedeng pahiram muna ng apo ko?" God said with a chuckle.

They all laughed softly.

"You are a mortal now, Azra. But both of you will come back here eventually, okay? Enjoy the gift of life and go forth to multiply," God said with a final, encouraging smile.

********End of Flashback********

Azra and Lailah watched as Maeve walked away, her shoulders hunched in sadness. Azra's heart ached with the realization of how much Maeve's absence affected her.

Azra took a deep breath, her resolve firming. She needed to make things right, to show Maeve just how much she was loved and valued.
