Zaeden Carter

Three months had passed since we first learned about the baby, and life had settled into a beautiful, chaotic rhythm. Our home, nestled away from the world's prying eyes, had become a sanctuary of love and laughter. Every morning, I woke to the sound of birdsong and the warmth of Lily's embrace. Her baby bump had grown noticeably larger than expected for three months, filling me with excitement and curiosity.

Our mornings were filled with playful banter and stolen kisses. Today was no different. I found Lily in the kitchen, her hair tousled and a mischievous smile playing on her lips. "Good morning, beautiful," I said, wrapping my arms around her from behind.

She leaned into me, her laughter like music. "Good morning, Zaeden. Ready for another day of being kicked out of the house?"

I chuckled. "You know I just want to stay and care for you."

"And you know I can take care of myself," she replied, turning to kiss me. "Besides, Sam and Ken need you at the office today because I can't go to the warehouse so, you need to go."

Reluctantly, I let her go. "Fine, but only because you insist."

"Maybe you could come home early after the warehouse because you don't have any other meetings to attend." She says as a smirk plasters on her face.

"I can't wait for this day to end early so, I can return to my babies." I go close to her as she peers at me. I smile at her and bring my face close to hers as our lips collide perfectly. Our tongues move perfectly sinking into each other.

After a few seconds, we broke up as she looked at me biting her lip. A smirk draws on my lip as I get to know her intention. " You're horny, aren't you lil cat? " Her smile gets bigger as she licks my earlobe and says, "Don't you have work Mr Carter? "she whispers seductively.

A groan passes my lips as she pushes me back and waves me to go. Giving her a last kiss I leave the house.

Lily worked from home, balancing her responsibilities with helping Sam and Ken manage the family business. She was a force of nature, handling everything with grace and determination. I admired her strength, even as I worried about her overworking herself.

After having a shit of hours at the warehouse I'm back at the house and hear the TV in the background and someone singing and of course, It was my baby dancing slowly syncing to the song. I enter as she smiles at me and waves me to join her.

My steps are slow yet certain she peers at me with her lashes. Her hand comes forward, latching my fingers with her small one. She dances with me keeping her hand protectively around the bump.

This moment felt surreal as the music changed on its own and our legs moved accordingly with the pace. Our gaze locked with each other as a light smile played on our lips. After a few moments, Lily says, "We have an appointment."

After having a shower I got ready as Lily was already ready and was taking files for the appointment.

Today was special. We had an appointment with the doctor for the gender reveal and to listen to the baby's heartbeat for the first time. I couldn't contain my excitement as we drove to the hospital, my hand resting protectively on Lily's growing bump.

The hospital was a familiar place now, but today it felt different. There was an air of anticipation as we sat in the waiting room, our fingers intertwined. Dr. Patel greeted us with a warm smile. "Lily, Zaeden, it's good to see you both. Come in."
