It's officially been a week since Maria and I have started fake dating. We started dating on October 22 2024. Even if it was the start of our fake relationship.

We've been pretty chill the last week, just holding hands, forehead kisses, walking together in the halls. I don't know if she's ready for me to kiss her on the lips yet but time will tell. Or, I could ask her. No, I'll just wait it out, maybe she'll kiss me?

As the bell rings I pack up my stuff quickly and make my way to Maria's class. On the way out of class I get stopped by this random girl.

" Hey, Lorenzo, right? You're on the basketball team right?" The girl spoke.

" Yes, who are you?" I replied skeptical but nicely.

"Oh, great! I'm Cassidy, I was just wondering what you were doing after school. Maybe you wanted to hang out?" She explained, hopeful.

"I'm going on a date with my girlfriend after school." I stated.

She looked down with her cheeks tinting red with embarrassment and mutters an "Oh,ok. Well maybe another day?"

"No, I have a girlfriend." I told her, again. I don't know if she didn't get the hint that I had a girlfriend. Fake or not. From the first time I said it but I was hoping she would get the hint and walk away. But to my surprise she didn't.

"She doesn't have to kn-" she continues saying but I can't hear anything as I'm walking away.

When I eventually get to Maria she's already at her locker. Guilt settles in my stomach because Elfren could have gotten her and done anything. She doesn't seem to mind though as she looks up to me with a slight smile.

"Hey Lorenzo." She cheers happily.

"Hey, sorry I didn't come by your class, some girl stopped to talk to me." I explain.

"Oh, cool, what'd she want?" She asked, looking at me for a split second then going back into her locker.

"Mhm, I don't know, she wanted to hang out, I told her no then left." I replied.

"Mhm, okay, well where do you think Mae wants to go tonight?" She questioned, seeming deep in thought.

" I don't know, hopefully something fun though, what do you want to do?" I bump her shoulder to get her attention.

"Um, I don't know, an arcade could be fun maybe." She beamed.

"That could be fun, we'll see what they have planned." I added, while we walked to math class.

When we got in the classroom she took her seat which wasn't to far from mine. I don't think she has any classes with Elfren so that's good.

After nearly ten minutes of sitting there and talking Ms.Green came in the classroom. "Get out your notes time for an open notes quiz." The whole room groaned because I swear this woman gives us a quiz every other day.

Nonetheless everyone got out their notes while Ms.Green passed out the quizzes. Everyone started on their quizzes, there wasn't a lot of questions so it wasn't hard. I soon got finished and went to give my quiz to the teacher.
