Fix the broken

Chapter 27.

Maria

I wake up to my head on Lorenzo's chest. His hands are softly going through my hair.

"Maria." He whispers.

"Mhm." I hum tiredly.

"You awake?" I asks in a whisper.

"Yeah." I say groggily. "What time is it."

"Nine thirty." Damn it's early. I'm surprised I'm even up this early seeing as how Lorenzo and I didn't get in bed until almost two in the morning.

"What time do we have to be at the bus?" I question still half asleep.

"Ten fifteen." I jump up at that and hurry towards the bathroom. I don't have that much time. I need to get ready and pack up all my stuff in my bag.

I get to the bathroom and hurriedly brush my teeth. Once I'm done with that I hear footsteps coming closer to me. Hands wrap around my waist and Lorenzo's head in in the crook of my neck.

"You should start getting ready, packing up all your stuff and everything." I explain, he makes no intention to move. I start cleaning up and putting all my makeup in my makeup bag.

I don't typically wear a lot of makeup on a regular day but on cheer games I have to wear more then usual so I have a small makeup bag I brought with me.

Turning on the water to get ready to wash my face I turn around to face Lorenzo, and wrap my arms around his neck.

He kisses my neck then starts going up to get to my lips. He kisses my lips and I taste the flavor of minty toothpaste. How long was he up before me?

I kiss him back and it quickly gets hotter, he hoists me up on the countertop of the sink. His tongue invades my mouth and I let out a quiet moan. No. I need to get ready to leave.

I push him away reluctantly, " Stop, I need to get ready to leave, you do too so go and do that." I wave him off.

I hop off the counter, he comes up to me and gives me another kiss before leaving the bathroom.

After washing my face I put on some light makeup then pack up my makeup bag. I make sure to get all my toiletries and put them in my suitcase.

By time I've changed my clothes and packed up all my stuff it's nine fifty five. Lorenzo got done a while ago and he's been sitting on the bed.

"Do you have everything?" I ask him. When leaving hotels I tend to get a little stressed. I always feel like I'm forgetting something.

"Yup." He answers laying his phone down on his chest and looking at me. "I think you do too." He gives me a questioning look.

Okay so I might have been going in and out of the bathroom and all around the room to make sure I got everything. "Yeah, you're right. I have everything." I go to sit down on the bed trying to calm my thoughts of not having everything.

I look over to Lorenzo and he's looking at me. "Just one more check." I smile, trying to get up he takes my wrist and pulls me back down onto the bed next to him.
