As soon as I closed the door I just stood there, my back against the door. After a couple minutes I made my way up to my room. I took a shower,brushed my teeth,washed my face, and put on my pajamas.
Before I could get into my bed my phone beeped.
Mae Mae: did you have fun tonight?
Me: Yes I did, thanks for inviting me.
Mae Mae: always, I love doing double dates. Do you think you'll go to the party tomorrow?
Me: Probably, Lily and James should be asleep by then and my dad usually doesn't care.
Mae Mae: You know you don't have to take care of them that much, their 14 and 12. Not baby's.
Me: I know, but since mom left I've been so protective over them I just don't want them getting hurt more.
Mae Mae: Yeah, I know, and it's super sweet.
Me: I guess, anyways, what did you and James do after we left y'all together at the arcade?
Mae Mae: It was so fun, we played more games and he won me that teddy bear. Then we played two player games. What did you and Enzo do?
Me: That sounds fun, we played two player games then I started playing one player games but ran out of coins so he gave me the rest of his. And after you came back with your teddy bear he asked if I wanted one but I said no , but he snuck off and got me one anyway.
Mae Mae: Awh that's so cute, did anything else happen???? Something like kiss, or make out maybe???
Me: Yes Mae, we kissed. Then I may have made out with him when he dropped me off .
Mae Mae:AHHHHH, I knew it. I knew something would happen.
Me: ok, whatever.
Mae Mae: your life would be so boring without me.
Me: uh.
Mae Mae: Admit it.
Me: okay, fine , my life would be so boring without you.
Mae Mae: HA, knew it.
Me: Goodnight Mae.
Mae Mae: Night, Maria, love ya.
Me: Love you.
Before I turn off my phone I get another notification, but it's not from Mae.
Unknown: Making out with him now are we?
I decide to just ignore it, that might not be the smartest idea but I don't want to respond to an unknown number. Though I have an idea of who it is, but I'm not certain.
I go to turn off my phone for real this time but I get another notification. This one making me have a slight smile.
