It's been a week since Ellie came into the picture and now she is spending more and more time around all of Nika's friends including Kate which pissed her off, Nika had been close to Kate at all times when they are around Ellie just to keep her safe.
But Kate had been getting annoyed by Nika being around her in Ellie every time they are together including today.
"Kate I'm not letting you go by yourself with Ellie." Nika said with her arms crossed in front of her chest while Kate rolled her eyes at Nika.
"Who are you? My body guard?!?" Kate said throwing the blanket down on the grey couch in front of her.
"No, but you know I don't trust her!" Nika said expressively moving her hands around trying to prove her point.
"I'm not going alone. Gabbie, Monica,and Sydney are coming too." Kate said coldly moving into her bed room with Nika following her.
"NOW SHES TAKING ALL MY FRIENDS!" Nika said leaning against the door frame of Kate bedroom door.
"She not taking anyone or doing anything to you Nika!" Kate said walking into the bathroom so she could change into her white Iowa shirt.
"Looks like she is!" Nika said throwing herself on Kate's messy bed that she didn't make this morning, Kate came out holding her black Iowa shirt she was wearing earlier and throwing it into her laundry basket.
"First of all, get the fuck off my bed. Second, she hasn't done anything to you for you not to trust her!" Kate said making Nika clutch her jaw, Nika wanted to tell Kate about everything that Ellie did to her, she really did but she just couldn't.
"No, I'm not getting off your bed." Nika said trying to change the subject making Kate roll her eyes.
"I'm leaving now." Kate said coldly walking to her bedroom door, Nika could tell that Kate was upset at Nika just by her response.
"Kate, wait!" Nika said rushing off the bed and running after Kate who had already went out the front door slamming it in Nika's face.
"Shit, what do I do?" Nika whispered to herself looking around Kate's now silent dorm.

Kate's car ride to the lake was definitely a short but very thoughtful one, all Kate could think about is the things that have been happening between Nika and her; and Kate finally understood her feelings for Nika.
