After that terrible scare that Kate gave everyone, Nika had to watch Kate's every movement, word she spoke, and mood she was in leaving her stressed out as much as possible. She couldn't trust Kate being alone after what she did in Croatia, but it left her exhausted constantly following Kate around like a puppy dog to his owner.
Kate on the other hand hated Nika following and watching her every single time she did something, she didn't understand why she kept doing it but it made Kate hold a grudge against Nika slightly. Like Nika didn't trust Kate enough to take care of herself and today was one of those days that Kate was completely fed up with it.
"Omg, stop following me around!" Kate exclaimed loudly inside her dorm room, Nika had been following Kate's every single move the whole day leaving Kate deeply annoyed with her girlfriend.
"I'm not Kate, I'm just making sure you're ok." Nika sarcastically said back to Kate, Kate groaned loudly clearly annoyed by Nika.
"Yes, you are. You've been following me since I woke up this morning!" Kate raised her voice now, Nika stood there in front of Kate rolling her eyes and her arms crossed in front of her chest.
"Well maybe that's because if you didn't pull that little stunt in Croatia!" Nika said loudly, Kate thought that they had already forgotten that and promised not to bring it up again.
"I thought we were over it that.." Kate mumbled slowly rubbing her arm looking down at the floor, right now Nika was completely fed up with all of this.
"How could I forget Kate?!?" Nika said going towards Kate before rolling up her sleeve seeing the marks on Kate's arm.
"This is permanent Kate! Of course I'll see the image in my mind of you on the bathroom floor!" Nika yelled her eyes filling up with tears as she held Kate's scarred arm, Kate felt all the frustration immediately flow out of her body seeing Nika crying in front of her.
"If you don't care about your life that on you! But at least use your head and think about all the people you would leave behind! Your parents, brothers and sister, your best friends, your coaches who love you.." Nika stopped for a moment trying to keep herself from crying harder looking down at the wooden floor beneath her feet.
"And me, your girlfriend who loves you so much.." Nika said slowly her grip on Kate's hand loosened and dropped to her side as she started sobbing, before Kate could do anything Nika had already left the living room area and went into Kate's room locking the door behind her.
Kate sighed not knowing what to say or think right now, Nika was right no doubt about that. Kate loved her life but something kept pulling her back into her depression, sadness, and her recurring struggles with sa. She didn't know what it was.
