Probably should have said this sooner, but this story will mostly focus on Shade being in the main group. The reader is just there to act as his mother. I will leave it up to you if I should change the reader to be named.
On the Destiny's Bounty with the ninja sleeping when a banging noise wakes them up.
"Evil doesn't sleep and neither should you!"
Wu bangs a gong. Shade slumped out of bed. He got barely any sleep thanks to Cole's snoring, the team talking most of the night and the nightmare he had. His team groaned.
"In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity." "Okay okay, we're up. But if you want us to reach full potential, shouldn't we at least get a full night of rest?" "You call that a rest? I think my back has more lumps than the mattress." "I'm used to sleeping like that." "How?!" "I grew up on the road, going from hotel to motel to tents and finally to staying with you guys." "Oh yeah, because your... mom... travels. Sorry dude." "It's fine. Like Sensei said, we'll find her."
"We were up so late, talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters, I guess we lost track of time. Since the Serpentine burned down our monastery, I'm just glad we have a roof over our head..."
Jay starts to brush his teeth and spits out some dirt that replaced his toothpaste.
"What is our lesson today, Sensei? Mastering the Strike of the Scorpion? Or perhaps the grace of—"
The ground beneath Zane breaks and he starts coughing.
"I think today's lesson would be chores." "Chores!?" "I'll get started with the cleaning."
Shade said walking out the room.
"Ninja fight, Sensei! They do not clean." "In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from. And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters. I expect things to be spotless when I return. And put your backs into it. Plus, I didn't hear Shade complain." "That's because all he can think about is how his mom is doing and where she is. She's possibly hurt or dying for he knows." "(Name) is a strong women who fought in the Serpentine War and against great evil that you four could never survive against!"
Wu bangs the gong VERY loud and the left the room.
"Whatever evil she faced, I'm sure we'd be able to handle it."
A shadow watched and heard this.
"Whatever guys. This place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up." "Unless we put more than our backs into it, huh?" "Ninja, go!"
Cole cleans up the room with Spinjitzu. He takes out all the trash and put it outside of the Bounty. Shade had set down some trash Cole missed.
"You mind teaching me that?" "I don't see why not, you are apart of this team." "Thanks Cole."
Cole nodded to him.
"I'll teach you once we have everything we need. Alright?" "Yeah, okay."
Zane throws the Shurikens of Ice toward the walls of Destiny's Bounty to freeze it. Kai uses the Sword of Fire on the ice.
"Ninja, go!"
Both of them uses Spinjitzu to melt the rest. Cole and Kai are fixing the machines inside the Destiny's Bounty. Jay uncovers a huge computer system and he tries to use the Numchucks of Lightning to fix it. All the ninja try to fix the canvas.
"Ninja, go!"
