A/N: This is my favorite episode of this season. Also, some of you Ninjago fans might like or dislike what I'm gonna make two of the Evil Ninja do.
At Dareth's dojo, the ninja are training Lloyd who is trying to light a light bulb with his Lightning. He grunts as Jay passes him. (Name) watched Jay train her youngest.
"Focus, Lloyd. Control the power inside you. When you feel a surge welling up, harness it." "I understand. I am in control."
Lloyd groaned.
"Come on, Lloyd. You can do it."
The bulb Lloyd was hold bursted. (Name) was quick in reaction and opened a shadow portal. The glass fell through it and it closed.
"Where did that glass go (Name)?" "Stashed away encase I need it Zane." "Aargh! Stupid light bulb! You're putting too much pressure on me. Let me have one more try." "Lloyd, that was the last one." "No, there has to be more!" "Sorry Lloyd, she's right. That was the last light bulb." "We'll continue training tomorrow."
Lloyd punches a punching bag, only for it to swing back at him knocking on his back. (Name) helped up onto his feet and ruffled his hair. Lloyd smiled up at his mom. She smiled back.
"What am I doing wrong, Sensei Wu? I can't seem to teach him to control his power."
Jay asked with a sigh. Shade looked at him with a sigh.
"Patience, Jay. Sometimes, the greatest opponent we face is ourselves, and that's especially true of Lloyd. Remember where he came from. He's the son of Lord Garmadon. It's going to take time for him to embrace the light." "Yeah, plus he's just a kid. A ten year old I'd say."
Shade says as Nya enters the room, wearing her sequined dress.
"Hey guys. Shade, how's the arm doing?" "Hey, Nya!" "Hey girl, the arm is doing great." "Hey, Jay. Uh, wanna come by the autobody shop later?" "Uh, the autobody shop?" "Yeah. I got a part-time job. Though I could fix up the Ultra Sonic Raider in my off time. Maybe if you come over, I can show you what I've been working on. (Name) has been helping me with it. Who knew she knew so much about mechanics."
Shade looks over at Nya.
"I did, she taught me a few things. She said she's seen her youngest sibling work with the stuff making Bull Clones." "Huh. Interesting." "Uh, sure Nya, heh."
Jay and Shade notices Nya is holding a letter. Shade was gonna ask about it, but Jay beat him to it.
"Uh, what you got there?" "Oh, um, this letter came for Lloyd."
She hands it to Wu. Wu reads it.
"Hmm. It's from Lloyd's old school." "The Darkley School for Bad Boys?" "Formerly Bad Boys. Since the last time we were there, they've changed to the Darkley School for Great Children." "Heh, wait. They've turned good?" "Hmm, it says here there's going to be a ceremony." "I love ceremonies. That means there's going to be cake."
Shade smacks Cole upside the head.
"Dude, what is with you and cake?" "Cake is tasty. Especially if your mom makes it. Her cakes are the best!"
Cole said as some drool leaked from his mouth.
"Thank you Cole. If there is no cake at the ceremony, I'll make a fresh cake for you and the others." "YES!" "In any case, Lloyd's change inspired them. Now they've invited Lloyd to give him an honorary degree in excellence."
Lloyd headbutts the punching bag.
"Are we sure we're talking about the same Lloyd?"
This time Shade used his mechanical hand to smack Kai upside the head.
