We arrived at the game and I went and sat down by Jackie's parents. Not really her parents but her uncle Stefan is like her dad, she never gave me the full scoop though. She was holding off on letting me meet them but I eventually did. We have met on FaceTime and stuff and then we've talked in person where we were play Caitlin in Indiana.
We always keep it short and sweet though just to make it less awkward. I sat beside her mother and she smiled at me.
"hey ms Linda." I said and she held her arms out for me to hug her.
"hey uncle Stefan, Terrence, kiare. You guys finally made it out here huh?" I said hugging them all.
"finally, I had to come see both of my babies play." Mrs Linda said.
"who do you guys think is gonna win?" I asked them. They all gave me a side eye.
"don't make us choose niece." Uncle Stefan said.
"I think Jackie's team is gonna win. I chose her cause she always send me 400 bucks." Terrence said with a grin.
"Rhyne ahh stingy." He added making me and kiare laugh. He got popped by his mama for cursing.
"Does she know you're here?" Uncle Stefan asked me .
"she doesn't, that's why I'm trying to keep a low profile at the moment but I do need to ask you guys something." I said fixing my cap.
"So every last one of us knows that me and Jackie has seen it all, the good, the bad, the ugly, the worst of it all. But even when we took that break I knew that she was the one I wanted to be with forever, like regardless of us always arguing, you don't realize what you had til it's gone and when she was gone, I was drained, I was a mess." I said kind of getting worked up but holding it together.
"Ever since we've been back together though, we've been good and better about communication and just letting each other know what it is whether we have to be mean or be ugly. Ms Linda, man you did your big one in her, like I love that lady with everything in me and everything that's left after. So I wanted to know if I have to permission to marry your daughter." I said hoping her would say yes.
"of course, of course, she's always wanted to be a married woman. She's dreamed of it since she was 16." She said smiling at me.
"ugh, there's no way in HELL..o-kitty she's marrying somebody before me." Terrence said catching hisself before he got his ear thumped again.
"okay sweet thanks ma, and uncle Stefan." I said hugging them and letting them know I'd see them after the game.
I walked back over to my seat between kamilla and angel. They looked at me and instantly thought they said no. They smiles faded and I ain even told them anything yet.
"she said no?" Milla asked me.
"why yall automatically think she said no because Ian come over there bouncing off walls?" I said laughing.
"but no she said yes. Her family love me for real." I said bragging.
"I'd hope they did or that would be wayyy harder than it had to be." Angle said side eying me.

The start of the game was rough. Coach told us we were playing like we'd never touched nor seen a basketball in our entire life and that we were embarrassing her so we knew we had to do better right then.
They were giving us a run for our money the whole first half. I spotted my family so that also gave me an extra boost.
After halftime Becky was literally nowhere to be seen. Tyler was coaching us for the first 5 minutes of the last half. Which is odd because she's always here unless she's yet, again suspended.
"where is Becky?" Alysha asked me as Rhyne shot free throws.
"no clue." I said shaking my head.

I'm talking to Becky about letting me in the locker room at the end of the game to surprise Jackie and she agreed. She told me that Jackie had worked extremely hard and that she deserves it.
"thank you so much." I said hugging her.
"you're welcome, just make my girl happier today." She said hugging me back.
I walked back to my seat at the bottom of the arena. I sat by kamilla and angel and then we watched the game.
"how'd it go?" Angel asked me.
"good, she's letting me in." I said with a grin on my face. I'm having all the people go in and set up and she had to watch to make sure they didn't steal anything so that's why she was late coming back." I said explaining to them.
"make sense." Kamilla said nodding.
When there was only 4 seconds left I walked through the tunnel and to the locker room where the Chinese looking lady let me in.

The game ended me with 27 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds and my sister with 24 points 8 assist and 7 rebounds so I think we both did good but we still came out with the dub.
I walked over to my sister and we took pictures with our family. I'm so thankful for them and I just can't express how grateful I am but thank God for my hold me downs.
"Ouu Angel's here." Rhyme said running over to her.
"how sweet, I wish chenn came." I said catching up.
"kamilla's here too so she has to be, they're like 3 peas in a pod. If one comes they all come. If two come they all come." Rhyne said hugging and kissing angel.
"where's chenn?" She asked Angel.
"ohh, she wa-" Angel said before Angel interrupted.
"snapped." Aja said shaking me.
"they want you to do an interview." Becky said dragging me away.
After Becky told me they wanted me to do an interview, i walked over and put the headset on. I stayed and did an interview while everyone else celebrated and went to the locker room.
