I just got done writing a few of my vows. I don't think I'm gone use because I wrote those out of anger and I did incorporate some things I probably shouldn't say at my wedding.
I looked at my phone and noticed Jackie texted me over and over again. But my phone is on dnd, and ion share my focus statuses with her cause I know she'll try to notify me anyways when I'm really trying to keep from getting her messages at the moment.
I called her back since I'd missed 4 calls. I don't want to argue, I just wasn't in the mood before and now I want to fix it.
"babe I literally called you 4 times and texted you 23 freaking times." She said mugging me.
"I got my phone on dnd mama, that's all." I said brushing my hair.
"how was practice?" She asked me.
"didn't go, sitting out cause I'm losing my energy again." I said sighing.
"aww, so is she not gonna let you play?" I asked her.
"nope. I'm tired of this man." I said shaking my head.
"anyways we need to talk about earlier." Jackie said.
"I'm sorry if I upset you." She said in a soft tone.
"You didn't have to apologize, I'm sorry for being mad that you're tired of planes. And you just flew out so I guess it's my turn." I said with rasp in my voice.
"can't believe our wedding is soon. We really need to get on it though, like we're slacking." Jackie said.
"I know, still deciding on dress or tux, I know ion wanna wear a dress though, but I know my mama wants me to wear one." I said sitting down.
"you're going to be gorgeous in your dress." Jackie said to me.
"how you figure I'm wearing one?" I said smiling.
6 weeks til wedding

So far we've done everything we've needed to do. We found dressed, we've found a photographer, and we're on top of everything.
Chenn flew out last night just for us to have quality time together.
"Babe, you ready? I made reservations for 7:00." Chenn said kissing my neck.
"almost." I said adding lipgloss then brushing my wig.
We got to the restaurant and Chenn pulled my chair out for me. I love how romantic she is.
the restaurant was beautifully lit restaurant. The ambiance is romantic, with soft music playing in the background. We were greeted by a waitress.
"Good evening! Welcome to La Belle. My name is Jenny , and I'll be taking care of you guys tonight. Can I start you off with some drinks?" She said with a bright smile.
"We'll have a bottle of your finest red wine, please." Chenn said holding my hand
"Excellent choice. And might I say, you look absolutely stunning tonight." She said eyeing me.
I smiled politely, but I don't think Chenn appreciated the compliment because her grip tightens slightly.
"Thank you. We're celebrating something special tonight." I said making it clear that we were together.
"Well, I hope it's as special as you are." She said with a slight grin.
Chenn's eyes narrow, she was clearly annoyed. I notices and decides to intervene.
"Actually, it's very special. We're celebrating our engagement." I said looking at Chenn.
I could see the chill on chenn's face a bit, she smiled back at me.
"Oh, congratulations! I'll get that wine for you right away." She said with a kind of embarrassed look on her face.

I turned and looked at Jackie when the waitress left because I told her she's too friendly, and that's not me being insecure that's her being friendly.
"I didn't like how she was looking at you." I said softly.
"Babe, you have nothing to worry about. I'm all yours." She said reassuring me.
My face softens, as I leaned in to kiss Jackie. We talked more about the wedding. We found bridesmaids dresses, now it just us waiting to find our own dresses.
"I love you, I hope you know that." I said not being able to stretch it enough.
"I love you too my love." She said back smiling. She has the prettiest smile ever. And I know I say that a lot but it's true.
Jenny came back with the wine and pours them each a glass.
"Here you go. To your engagement." She said sounding happy for us but I could tell she wasn't. And that's because I got something Jenny wants but she ain't gonna get.
We clinked our glasses and took a sip. Ion know if we should trust this cause she kind of iffy.
After we ate we went to a lake. I hate being close to water when it's super dark but Jackie convinced me to come out here.

Me and Chenn walk hand in hand by the serene lake. The moonlight reflects off the water, creating a magical atmosphere.
"Can you believe how that waitress was acting?" She said still not over it
"I know, right? But hey, it just shows I still got it. Besides she was just being nice." I said shrugging.
"Oh, you've definitely still got it. But you're all mine." She said nodding her head
We both laugh and continue walking. I seem a small boat tied to the dock. I don't know if it's eligible for use but all I know is chenn not finna wanna get on it.
"wanna get on?" I asked Chenn pointing to the boat.
"Are you sure? You know I'm not the best with boats." She said raising an eyebrow.
"Come on, it'll be fun! Plus, I'll be there to save you if anything happens." She said kissing me and then dragging me.
We untied the boat and climbed in, pushing off from the dock. As we floated on the calm water, we looked up at the stars. I know Chenn scared so ba right now.
"This is perfect. Just like you." She said grabbing my hand. I love how clingy she is
"We're perfect." I said kissing her softly.
We shared a tender kiss as the boat drifts under the starry sky. I wonder what happens if we get stranded.
This wedding gone stress me. But imma get it done cause I really gotta finish these books man, somebody tell me no new books until i finish 2. Anyways lemme know what you guys think, xoxo 💋!
