3 weeks til wedding

I'm trapped. I don't know if I wanna wear a dress and I gotta go look TODAY, because I won't have not other time to do it.
I got in the passanger seat with Kamilla in the back. They greeted me and I got in.
"hey Barbie and limited edition Barbie." I said smiling.
"hi chenn." They said to me as Angel drove off.
"wedding ready?" She asked me.
"I'm still stuck because I really don't know about wearing a dress but I feel like stepping out of my comfort zone will be good for me." I said.
"I think you'll look super super sexy in a dress." Kamilla said with her thick accent.
"me too, you'll be fine, and if you can't find a dress you like, then that's when you go with the tux option." Angel said.
What they said sounded pretty good to me. I nodded my head and then called Jackie. I hope they don't mind.
"wassup baby?" She said in her white gurl voice.
"so I am gone look for a dress first but if I can't find one I like then I'm just gone do a tux." I said explaining what angel just said to me.
"that's a good idea, but like regardless of what you choose, you gone be sexy so it doesn't matter." She said making me smile.
I feel like the date we had a few weeks back was definitely necessary, like that brought us closer and I was sad to leave her but soon, we'll be back together again.
"what are you doing love?" She asked me.
"i am going dress shopping." I said nodding.
"Great I wanna see when you finish." She said knowing I wasn't finna let her see.
"I'm not finna show you the dress, it's bad luck." I said laughing.
"ughhh, I guesss but I gotta go baby, we about to start practice, I love you, be safe and call me when you get home." She said l, it's early so I know she still tired.
"I love you too mamas, have a safe practice." I said before we hung up.
"I wish I had somebody to talk to like that." Kamilla said.
"I do, but rhy been tripping lately, like she think I'm gone cheat on her or something." Angel said.
"you must've been dry texting?" Chenn asked me.
"yea.. how you knew that?" She asked side eyeing me.
"Jackie told me she gets completely self-conscious and immediately go to thinking somebody is cheating or something is wrong when they dry text or act nonchalant." I said shrugging.
"I don't be meaning nothing by it, it just be too early or too late or I'm just having a bad day but like yesterday and today has been good days." She said driving.
"she kind of gets a little aggressive at times too. Not to where she'll hit me but she does knock stuff over and throw stuff at the wall." Angel explained.
"oh that's not aggression, that's anger issues." Kamilla said making us laugh and I'm with her when she right.

I jus t got home from practice and I sweated so bad to day so I didn't even stop to get food I'm jus gone go back or order in because I need to shower ASAPPPP.
I started my water and filled the tub up before hopping in. I like it steaming hot even though it feels like third degree burns at first but it be worth it.
as I washed myself my phone started vibrating on the toilet top. I looked and it was Chenn so I answered.
"you must be in the shower?" I heard her voice say.
"yes, skin is burning but it's okay." I said smiling.
"is there anything you're doing after you finish?" She asked me.
"I was supposed to be going dress shopping with Aja but something went wrong with bam and she belled so I'm gone go get food and then I'm gone go tomorrow." I said washing myself off.
After washing myself I turn the shower on and washed my body 2 more times. Then I grabbed a towel and got out. I propped my phone up on the sink. And did my skincare.
"you about to drop that towel?" Chenn asked me being flirty.
"girl please." I said laughing.
After my hygiene and skincare I put my clothes on and some lotion and then went out to my car.
"what you gone eat?" I heard Chenn ask me.
"I really want like real cooked food not fast food so I think I'm going to like a steakhouse." I said driving off.
"what did you eat today? Cause I know you'll skip a meal in a heart beat. Even though I keep telling you it's not healthy. " I said mugging the camera.
"well eating you would've been nice but since I didn't have that option I had canes I think. I can't remember." She said.
"how did dress shopping go?" I asked her.
"Good! I found the right dress and it only took 34 different dresses to try on." She said making me giggle.
"Who came to make sweet love? Not me. Who came to kiss and hug? Not me. Who came to beat it up? Chennedy..." she said making me gasp and then giggle. I didn't realize the song she was singing at first.
"I find it crazy that's we've actually not done anything since we've been together for real but that's good though." She said clapping us up.

I scrolled on Instagram while Jackie drove. I took FaceTime pictures of her and she giggled. She's been giggling a lot lately.
"you so presha." I said and then she smiled.
"thank you baby." She said back.
We were both just in a comfortable silence and I heard her begin to sing, and she can actually sing a little..... when she's on mute.
Nah I'm just kidding but she does sound like she had vocals. I watched her drive and I smiled. I can't believe I get to marry her so soon.
