Me and chenn had been 3 months in wedding planning. We wanted to get started really early that way if there's any delays, we be able to have it covered before we don't.
We decided on July 12th for the wedding date, we've decided on colors, we know what we want it to look like, but we haven't found the person yet.
Chenn suggested we get married is Paris but I can't look T that place for another 4 years. She also said the Caribbean so I liked that one.
We've been on FaceTime like 5 times a day since we've been engaged.
I walked down the stairs of my house and admired my ring. Tonight we're going out for dinner as a team. Ana and Kelsey always come over to get ready though. Chelsea too but she's not coming today because Lennox wouldn't go to sleep.
"heyyy" Aja said entering and attempting to twerk.
"Hii." I said shutting the door after Kelsey. She had a duffle bag on her shoulder.
"so how's the not really soon but eventually to be married woman?" She asked me hugging me.
"I'm good, still have a bunch to think about." I said shrugging.
"I know I better be a bridesmaid." Aja said side eyeing me.
"I have way too many of my friends to choose from. And I have sisters, please don't put that on me right now." I said knowing I already knew who I would choose. It's a no brainer.
I got in the shower and then went to choose an outfit from my closet.
"has chenn been in yet?" Aja asked me out of nowhere, it kind of caught me off guard.
"girl what? No.. ion think." I said laughing.
"you're so random." Kelsey said putting on her makeup.
"which one should I wear?" I said holding up a crop top and a t-shirt.
"go ahead and wear that crop top, you know you want to." Aja said laughing.
"you gone get off me." I said getting dressed.
"still can't believe you're gonna e married in the next year and a half." Aja said wiping her fake tears.
"I'm kind of scared." I finally admitted.
"there's really nothing to be scared about, commitment is commitment, honesty is key, not just to whoever you're marrying but also to yourself." Kelsey said.
"I should've never married him, I knew how I felt about it but I wasn't honest with myself." Kelsey said being honest.
"so don't get yo there and say "I do" and then you don't." She said making me and Aja laugh.
"thanks for the lesson." I said brushing my hair.
"think it's bout time you lay that umm... wig to rest." Aja said walking up behind me.
"not you got beef with me." I said to Aja making her laugh.
While I was getting ready, my Apple Watch told me that Chen was calling. I grabbed my phone, answered the FaceTime, and propped my phone against my vanity.

Jackie had her phone propped up and i instantly started taking FaceTime pictures because she looks so good. She's so beautiful.
"Ouuuu, you look beautiful." I said smiling.
"aww, thanks babe." I said smiling,
"she aight." Aja said shrugging and walking away.
"what are you doing?" I heard Jackie ask me in her whiny voice.
"getting shots up and lifting, still not where I wanna be as far as my lift max." I said watching her get ready.
"what about you?" I added.
"me and the team are just going out for dinner. We've been doing a lot of hanging out outside of basketball lately. I'm happy though." She said shrugging.
"are you there by yourself?" She asked me.
" yep. Angel and Kamilla did try to come over but I told them it was okay because I was going to probably just go back to the gym." I said looking at the tv.
"so you didn't want them to come over?" Aja asked in the back.
"they still could've, we just would've went to the gym, because I'm going back in like an hour."
"so chenn, do you have any bridesmaids yet?" Kelsey asked me.
"Angel, Kamilla. They are my only choices because I don't have a lot of friends and I don't have any blood sisters so this was really easy for me." I said nodding.
"lucky you." My fiancé said on the other end.

After we got off the phone I grabbed all my stuff and we left, we went in a'ja's car and I was in the back because Kelsey's older so why make it difficult.
The parts of the wedding that we've done wasn't hard at all. I'm really just soaking in the time with my friends because I know they're gonna be mad when they hear who I chose.
I put lipgloss on while looking in my phone camera. The ride was basically silent and then we just started singing our hearts out to irreplaceable.
"why are you singing again?" Aja said looking back at me .
"right let me call chenn and snitch." Kelsey said making me laugh.
"Aja you got a man too so I'm calling bam." I said looking at her.
"let's not, we only dating, you engaged." She said addressing it.
We got to the restaurant and got out. We were the last 3 to get there, you'd think Aja be flying but yall she really don't. She drive so slow, talm bout she don't wanna hurt her baby.
"thought yall wasn't coming." Megan said.
"it's Aja fault. She drive slow as sh*t." Kelsey said making everyone laugh.
"soo how's ms fiancé?" Kate said shoulder shimmying me.
"good, scared, stressed, nervous, but I'm alright though." I said smiling.
We looked at menus and were trying to decide what to get. This restaurant has a bunch of good choices. They lady came over and asked for our drink orders.
I told her I wanted a water with lemon and then we just talked.
