after the 24 hour flight i let out a sigh of relief as i stepped off the boarding bridge and into the loud airport.

"thank god." cailee said. i had previously invited her to join us on this trip, because what would italy be without my best friend?

i smiled and started walking through the airport with the two girls. "i for one love flights, it's the perfect time for me to read, think and just enjoy the peaceful moments."

cailee rolled her eyes at my statement. "you're so weird." she said. "i hate flying. sitting in one place for so long sucks."

lorena laughed as we navigated our way through the airport. "not all of us have adhd, cailee."

despite cailee's complaints about the flight, i knew she loved being here as much as i did. the excitement on her face was clear as we made our way through the airport.

"alright, we have to grab our luggage then head out to the car." i said, double checking my phone for instructions on where to go.

lorena nodded in confirmation. "and the car will take us to capri which is about a two hour drive from here."

i smiled, already anticipating the beautiful ride along the coast. the view of the italian riviera was unbeatable. "a road trip through italy? sounds perfect to me."

cailee laughed. "of course you would think that."

HOTEL CAESAR AUGUSTUS

i smiled as got out of the car, taking in the beautiful view in front of me. "it's a villa hotel!" i exclaimed as i recognized the standalone 'homes.'

cailee and lorena followed closely behind, equally mesmerized by the breathtaking scenery. "this is insane." cailee breathed as she looked around.

"i know, right?" i said, feeling awestruck. the hotel was gorgeous, surrounded by vibrant gardens and overlooking the rocky coastline.

we all grabbed our luggage and headed inside of the lobby, where we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff.

"welcome to hotel caesar augustus!" a woman behind the desk exclaimed enthusiastically. "we are so excited to have you with us for your stay in capri."

"well we're excited to be here." i replied with a smile on my face.

her and lorena who had all of the room details spoke before the worker smiled and handed each of us keys to our own individual villas. "you are all in ocean view villas, so please enjoy the beautiful views."
