𝗔 venomous possessiveness coursed through his veins as he heard Jessica utter Tristian and Mili's names together.

Daniel lit a cigar as he stepped into his room. When he emerged, the cigar was still burning between his fingers. Striding down the hallway, he cast a quick glance toward Mili's door, noticing it was locked. A slight smile tugged at his lips before he continued on his way with his measured and confident steps.

A knee-length off-white dress was chosen by Mili for tonight's dinner at the Padrino's mansion.

It was a custom at the Romanos to arrange a dinner once every ten days, aiming to maintain harmony between the three different families. Tonight it was at the Antonio's. With one matching white bow clip tying her hair, leaving a few locks softly falling on her face, and a smudge of cherry lip tint, Mili finished her preparations after drizzling some sweet strawberry perfume.

Today's morning was a bit weirder than Mili's assumption. Mili wanted to skip breakfast as a silent protest for her yesterday's despondency but it was the first time that Daniel was not present at the mansion for the breakfast. And, as she stepped out of her room in the early morning, she ran into two maids. They came to their mansion from Antonio's, to collect Jessica who was having some painful hangovers lying on the floor near the door of Daniel's bedroom. It was quite a hassle for them to carry Jessica out of the place.

The evening quietly matured as time passed by but Daniel was far from arriving at the mansion. A few guards from Antonio's mansion were sent to receive them minding their delay. Sensing Daniel might not be present at today's dinner as well, Mili left for Antonio's mansion on her own.

"Nacho si trova sullo stesso lato del magazzino," in a slight concerned tone Antonio informed Lorenzo. (Nacho is on the same side of the warehouse)

They were both relaxing on a finely aged wine as their celebration of victory started early in the evening at Antonio's office. An informant called Antonio and delivered him the message of their second in command, Nacho, being on the same side of the warehouse as Daniel. The side that was burnt down. Deliberately. Scrupulously.
