Our parents stayed a week. It has also been a week since I saw Chan. But every day, we found new things to do, and it became a nice distraction. My mom even helped me to redye my hair, as she claimed she missed helping me do things. So we spent half a day doing that.

We went to try out almost every restaurant we could find, and if we didn't stay, we ordered in. Because, as they claimed, it was illegal to cook in a foreign place. We went to festivals, and the girls and I helped translate for them, which I bragged every chance I got to Brent.

During the week, I still got random questions about him and the group. Yes, they were curious about Le Sserafim, Sakura, and Maxim, but with Chan? They weren't sure what happened between us but knew something happened, so they kept poking at it.

We tried different desserts from different places, and when mom found something she or my dad liked, she googled the name and decided to keep it "in case we crave it."

Three times that week they went out for a while without us as we had an interview over the phone with different radio stations. Our schedule was set by Ross, who only came when we had an interview, and our family would go somewhere so we'd have quiet. And when we were done, Ross would send a message, and they'd come fetch us for lunch, especially since our interviews were always in the morning.

Two days before they had to leave, we had a photo shoot with another magazine. And of course they all joined to see the behind-the-scenes of it all. The guy even invited them to join and have a little family interview. They didn't have any outfits for our parents or Brent because, luckily, Ally was our size and fit in most of the items.

But the universe was on our side that day because that morning before we left, they all decided to dress up. Because somehow, Mrs. Benton thought, that what if they do a family shoot. Which when it happened, she joked, saying she had the gift of sight.

After the photos were taken, we sat down with the same camera crew as they asked us questions. This time it took extra long because we answered one family at a time as well as all three of us together. The questions they asked our family were more about our upbringing and how they feel about it all.

When we were done, we went out. Each family on their own, as Madi wanted her parents to meet Sakura at least once. Of course Sakura agreed, and even the others, especially Yunjin, asked when they would meet our parents. But we said not yet, as we just wanted to spend more time alone.

"Elle. What's wrong?" Mom asked as we stood in the bathroom of the restaurant we ate at. I stared at her through the mirror and shrugged.

"With what?" I played dumb as I washed my hands, taking an unnecessary amount of time.

"That boy. Or should I say man? Because he is far from being just a boy." She winked, and my eyes widened. "He looks as if he too has the flu." She insinuated, and I turned to face her.

"What are you saying?" I asked a bit too bluntly, and by her smile, I knew she knew I knew what she meant.

"Elle. I know you. And I know when you're hiding something. You have a tell. And when Bang Chan was there, your tell was telling." She handed me a paper towel and then took one for herself.

"We broke up last week." I admitted, squeezing the paper to keep my emotions intact.

"Oh honey." She took a step. closer and pulled me in for a hug. Rubbing my back up and down, she kissed the side of my head. "Want to talk about it?"

"We started dating three months ago. And broke up the day the video was released." And suddenly, I grew a case of word diarrhea and explained everything, only keeping out the sleeping over part.
