Hello! After debating it for a while I decided to switch the writing style to 3rd person view instead of 1st person view. I decided on that as I noticed many writers opted for 3rd person and because in the upcoming chapters I will be writing from other characters' perspectives and I'd rather not be putting things like Shouto POV, as I've done with previous fanfics as I feel it might be messy. So I will be writing from now on 3rd person and will slowly update the previous chapters to 3rd person.
Akari's thoughts will still be in italics and will obviously be in 1st person.
Please let me know your thoughts on the change! Hope you like the change.

Akari had a hearty breakfast and spend the next two hours getting ready for her date with Shouto. After much consideration, Akari and her Mom chose a white top with a ruffled pink skirt and a gold-colored necklace to compliment it. They chose a pink ribbon for her hair to go with her outfit.
Akari thought about styling her hair differently but decided against it as she didn't want it to seem like she overdid it. Shouto never explicitly said it was a date so she didn't want to overdo it.
Akari did apply very light makeup mainly comprised of mascara and lip gloss. She checked the time and saw she was still one hour away from the agreed time.
Hmm... what to do?
Well, we agreed on meeting at noon but I can still text him!
Akari:
Hi Shouto! Whatcha doing?
It didn't take him long, as usual, to reply back.
Shouto:
Hello Akari.
Well to be honest
Akari blinks at the incomplete text and waits for another text from him but sighs when it doesn't come.
Did he get busy? It feels unlike him to send an incomplete message.
After thinking that Akari's heart almost leaps out of her chest when her phone starts ringing.
It's him!
He's calling me!
Akari takes a deep breath and answers him.
"Hello?" Akari says masking her excitement with calmness.
"Hello Akari, it's me." Shouto says from the other side of the phone.
"I wanted to ask-" Shouto was saying when I heard an unknown voice talk to Shouto excitedly.
"Is it her? Ask her, Shouto!" the voice urged Shouto.
Shouto sighed then lowers his voice as he answered her. "Yes I know, I'm asking her right now.
Akari was very curious as to who the mystery woman was but decided to not ask.
Right now anyway.
"Sorry about that. I wanted to ask if you wanted to come to my house." Shouto says, talking to Akari again.
Wait, what?
"We can head to the mall afterwards." Shouto added.
"Uh, yeah, that's totally fine." Akari agrees not expecting to be invited to his house.
"Okay, you can come whenever you like." Shouto continued.
"Alright, see you soon Shouto."
"See you soon." He answered back.
