To make things less confusing I decided to underline all the texting.

After all the chaos that had ensued in the USJ, the students were told to head home after changing back to their uniforms.

It wasn't until Akari had put her uniform back that she felt like an ordinary girl again. Today's event had really opened her eyes to the work Pro hero do in their daily lives.

No amount of stories or video footage can compare to feeling it firsthand.

She had been walking out of the school with Shouto, chatting about the events of the USJ, sharing her theories about the League of villains, and mostly expanding on what she had mentioned briefly back in the USJ.

Shouto listened to her earnestly, he also told her his thoughts on the subject. She appreciated how he listened and didn't discard her thoughts.

"That's enough of your foolish theories!"

Her grandpa's harsh words echoed in her mind as she remembered the times she had told him some of my theories of certain villains. He always reacted the same and didn't value her input regarding the villains. She was able to feel satisfaction when some of them proved to be true though.

"They wanted to alarm us which is why they let the press enter the other day as if to tell U.A that their security can easily be compromised." she rambled on to Shouto.

He nods, "It must have been their warning as they didn't attack then but days later at the USJ."

"Exactly! Thoug-" Akari was saying when she was interrupted by a loud familiar voice.

"Akari!!"

Akari was then engulfed in a tight hug, she was able to tell who it was by the familiar perfume though it still was extremely tight.

"Mom! You're choking me!" Akari exclaimed as she tried to gasp for breath.

"Oops! Didn't mean to hug you so hard, sweetie." She lets go and Akari breathed out in relief.

For a civilian, she sure has an iron grip...

"We're so happy to see you safe and sound, Akari." Akari turns to the soothing voice of her Dad.

"Dad, you're here too?" she asked, puzzled.

"Of course! We both left work as soon as we heard of the attack! Are you okay? You're not injured right?" her Mom fretted as she grabbed her arms and looked for injuries.

"I'm fine Mom! I'd tell you if I was, besides aren't you tired? You've been taking care of others for hours."

"If I can take care of my patients I can definitely take care of my baby!" She exclaims.

Akari's Mom is a nurse at a nearby hospital. She doesn't possess a healing quirk like Recovery girl or other people in the medical field. She has an ice quirk like Akari's Grandpa.

"I thought I was gonna have a heart attack when I heard of the incident. I left my client and rushed here." Dad sighed.

"You left your client?! It wasn't in the middle of court right?" Akari asked, worried.

"No, no. It was at the office. I was just updating him with the process of his case." Dad explained.

"Ah good. I just never know with you, Dad." Akari says with a relieved smile.

Her Dad is a lawyer, a pretty well-known one as well. She would hate for his reputation to be hurt for leaving in the middle of court. Though it just shows how much she means to them.
