I walked back to class with Jirou. I already felt I have made a good friend.

I felt excited as I knew that after lunch our heroics class will begin. I felt giddy with excitement as I prayed the rumors were true.

My prayers were answered as the door soon opened and we hear a loud voice.

"I HAVE COME...through the door like a normal person...!!"

All Might himself was standing before us with his signature smile.

I could hardly believe it, I had seen him once when he went to talk to my grandpa many years ago. He hadn't changed at all. I remember I was so star-struck that all I could yelp out was a timid "H-hi!"

He had been very kind to me which only raised my opinion of him. Unfortunately, my grandpa told me to leave as they had business to discuss. Before I left All Might told me that he was sure I could become a hero, and he was sure we would meet again.

That only made me push myself harder to become a hero.

He really is a teacher at U.A!

My classmates shared my feelings as they all chatted enthusiastically about being to learn under All Might himself.

All Might cleared his throat, still smiling widely. "Now, then! For today, let's jump right in with this—!" He outstretched a large card for the entire class to see. "The trial of battle!"

My classmates were filled with excitement as we all cheered. Though it only got more hectic with his next words.

"We've prepared the costumes you requested. Get changed and everyone gather at Grounds B! And don't forget, from here on out, you're all officially...heroes!"

I'm finally going to be a hero...!

I happily skipped over to the line that had already formed as we all picked up our costumes.

I can't wait!

I can't help but gasp when I look at myself in the mirror. The costume looked even better than the rough sketch that I had sent out.

I decided on a light and flowy design. Something practical yet cute.

A light blue bodysuit and a high-low skirt that is lightly ruffled. I also chose a pair of long blue boots. I was also sporting a cropped jacket that went along with my costume. I added many water compartments such as my belt, my headband, and my jacket.

For colors, I decided on a mix of blue, light blue, and white.

I look down at my arms where I have long gloves on.

Back when I was designing it, the part of my costume I mostly debated on was the globes.

The globes really went with my outfit but more importantly, was my soulmate tattoo.

I've never been the type to hide or be ashamed of having it. On the contrary, it made me happy when people noticed it and asked me questions about it.

But I knew that as a hero things would be different. Villains might find a way to take advantage of me or my soulmate if they realize I have one. And more than being proud of having one I cared more about my safety and my soulmate's.

I sigh as I touch the spot where my soulmate mark is.

I'm relieved I made that choice now but because of different reasons.

I don't really want my classmates to know about it until I have actually made some progress with Todoroki.

Jirou knows but it was because I needed to have someone to vent to and I asked her to keep the secret until I felt ready to tell everyone. I trust she'll keep the secret.
