Hii guys ! So I had some trouble thinking about how I'm going to manage the next few chapters since Renee is going to be on tour. I figured the easiest way to not get lost in the dates and to have a correct timeline for my story was for me to write each day and what's happening ( i was writing only the month before). So I don't know if I'll keep doing it once the "tour chapters" are over but for now the chapters are going to be divided in a few smaller parts ( for each day).

Anyway tell me if that suits you

Enjoy this little chapter with a lot of POV changes.

... January 25th ... Renee is in Houston – Week one of the tour

Max's POV

The day I had been dreading finally came. Renee left this morning for Houston. She left early and we had said goodbye last night already but I woke up before she left, I couldn't let her go without one last kiss. We had spent the night before curled up on the couch, not talking much, just holding each other. She seemed - nervous, maybe - but I could also see the excitement in her eyes, they were lit up like always when she was about to perform.

Uff I miss her already .

But I have no time to feel sorry for myself or to miss her right now. Today is the day I'm moving all my stuff into her house – well, our house now. I needed to keep busy, to stay focused, or I'd drown in the silence she left behind. That's very dramatic of me to say but you know what ? I don't give a fuck ....

So I grabbed my keys and headed out the door, driving to my old place where Scarlett and Jordan were waiting for me.

"There you are!" Scarlett called out, waving as I pulled into the driveway. "We thought you'd forgotten about us."

"Hey Scar don't be mean, the love of her life just left this morning" Jordan said, whispering but I was close enough to read on his lips .

"Yeah by the way, why didn't you move into Renee's house earlier this week so she could help us ?" Scarlett asked while entering the house.

"That's true, it's almost like she did that on purpose" I smirk knowing she totally did.

Jordan chuckled, handing me a cup of coffee.

The three of us made quick work of packing up the few things I had left in this place. Most of my stuff had already been moved over in the weeks before, but there were still a few boxes of clothes, books, and all my furniture.

It didn't take long to get everything packed up. By late morning, the truck Jordan borrowed to his dad was loaded, and we were on our way to what was now officially my new home.

We spent an hour unpacking and I ordered pizzas to thank them for the help.

I had to swing by the office in the afternoon to check something with Willow and returned home by 6PM to start making dinner. I had invited my old roommates to eat at my new place. Scarlett and Jordan came back and Sam and Taylor joined us after they're day at work.

Eventually, I made my way to the bedroom, sitting down on the edge of the bed. The kitten Renee had offered me jumped up beside me, nuzzling against my leg. I reached out, running my fingers through his soft fur, the kitten purred softly.

I leaned back against the bed frame, my fingers still absently running through the kitten's fur as I started scrolling through my phone. Almost instantly, pictures and videos of Renee's show began to flood my feed. I smiled at her cute little face, she seemed to have fun.
