Arien and Arjen's POV-

After the picnic, Arien and Arjen both fully expected Eiji to leave them alone. Contrary to their expectations, however, the hyper boy had picked them both up, insisting on a joyride on his green hawk. This led them to their current situation. All three children were now standing face-to-face with a massive green hawk.

Eiji grinned, his canine teeth showing.

"Arien, Arjen. This is Kirra, my guardian."

The green hawk stepped forward, transforming into a green-haired man in the process. He then introduced himself as Kirra, before transforming back and allowing them to climb onto his back.

Arien turned around, looking at the third prince who was sitting securely behind them.

"Big brother Eiji, where are we going?"

The boy laughed heartily.

"To my garden, of course! Where else could we be going?"

Then, they took off. With each flap of Kirra's wings, they soared higher into the air until the bushes were no more than dots scattered on the ground.

Arjen leaned over, looking down at the ground that was getting further and further away.

"Wow..."

Then, they began to plummet, little red specks turning into exquisite roses. They had arrived at Eiji's garden.

Eiji hopped off first, picking up both children with ease and sitting them down on a bench. Excitedly, like a puppy, he called for the maids to bring over a box.

"Guess what this is!"

The two looked at each other, deep in thought.

'A toy?'

'It looks like a cake box...but we just ate.'

Finally, Arjen looked at Eiji with twinkling eyes.

"Is it cake?"

Eiji beamed, quickly opening the box to reveal a yellow cake.

"You're right! This is to celebrate our first meeting!"

He picked up a slice, using two forks to hold up a bite of cake in front of each sibling. His eyes sparkled expectantly, and Arien and Arjen found themselves hesitantly opening their mouths to eat the cake.

'It's delicious..'

'Is this how it feels to be doted on?'
