Arien and Arjen's POV (skipping Arden's for now!)-

"It is far too early for the children to begin studying".

A clear voice rang out in the room, and everyone turned to look at the guest, who had neat blonde hair and dark gray eyes. It was the crown prince.

Ishina turned and bowed toward him.

"Greetings to your imperial highness, the crown prince."

The twins looked at each other with confusion evident in their eyes.

'The crown prince? Didn't he leave? What is he doing here?'

Lloyd walked toward his younger siblings and patted their heads, looking at them affectionately. Then, he steeled his gaze and turned to face the head made with squinted eyes.

"Ishina. Bring me their lesson schedule."

The maid bowed politely.

"Yes, your imperial highness."

Then, she handed the crown prince the lesson schedule of the twins, who looked at it in disbelief. As he looked further, his gaze became colder until, eventually, the room seemed colder than ice.

He gripped the paper, looking at the head maid coldly.

"Even if father has ordered you to manage everything about them, are you insane, Ishina?"

Ishina flinched, as did the twins. The crown prince continued to lecture Ishina, his grip on the schedule becoming tighter as time went on.

"What's with this ridiculous amount of studying? Are you trying to overwhelm these children?"

He took a breath.

"I will not repeat myself. Reduce their studies by half."

Ishina bowed.

"My apologies, your imperial highness. I cannot follow your orders, as it is his majesty's order that I am in charge of their education. I cannot disobey his majesty's orders to follow yours."

"...You cannot obey my orders because of my father's orders?"

"That is the rule, your imperial highness."

"Hah...I suppose it can't be helped. I understand, Ishina."

He turned toward Arien and Arjen and patted their heads gently.

"If you need anything, let me know. You can also visit my palace, as well as Alec's."

Then, he left, and the maids let out relieved sighs.
